Two dolls, each on their own circular wood base. The first doll (part a) is carrying a baby on the back and wearing blue under an orange garment decorated with white and green circles. The second doll (part b) is a female wearing a red upper garment decorated with gold-coloured circles and a blue lower garment decorated with white horizontal lines. In front of her, she is holding a brown circular object with gold-coloured radial lines.

Carving2609/1

Carving made from the root and trunk of a birch tree. A bust of a person with headdress has been attached to the base with a metal peg. The eyes of the figure have been filled in with a white paint and a single black bead. The base has heads of two animals sticking out from the burl. Carving stands on three leg-like protrusions. Two circular and one oblong hole have been carved deeply into the top of the base.

Carving Knife1779/16 a-b

Part (a): knife with carved wood handle tapered at both ends. Stamped letters in three rows, 'RK FROST MORA SWEDEN'. Blade inserted in oval-shaped hole at end with groove. Opposite end has metal peg. Part (b): grey manufactured plastic case with tab for attaching to a belt. Word 'Frosts' embossed on front.

Basket made of birch bark that has been bent and sewn together with birch root. Birch twig around rim is overcast with birch root. Geometric design around sides is scratched on. On one side is lines with triangles (vertex down). On the other side are vertical lines of diamonds. The darker side of the bark is to the outside. (Raley label #165 on base.)

Birch bark dish. Birch bark bent and sewn into place. The rim is reinforced with splints overcast with birch root and decorated with black bark. A twig is laced on lower down. There are also heavier pieces of bark on the ends and sides for reinforcement. Light side of bark is to the outside and darker flaps are laced on the ends and sides. The rim is overcast splints beaded with black bark. Part of the overcasting stitch leaves the splints exposed.
