Ceremonial bark cloth pectoral, shield-shaped with a rounded bottom. Two thongs of bark attached to the top corners hold the garment around the wearer's neck. The cloth is decorated with vegetable dye in geometric patterns in yellow, red, dark blue and brown. The body of a toucan bird is attached at centre by bark thread, blue feathered wings splayed toward the edges of the pectoral, its head with very large beak hanging freely. The garment is edged in light brown and grey seeds, with several long feathers attached at bottom. The back is undecorated.

The body of a red and black cotinga ? bird is attached to the front centre, head toward the bottom, wings and tail spread. Above and to either side is attached a design of red and green feathers under rows of white seeds centred around a larger brown seed. The pectoral is edged in dark brown and grey seeds, with several single macaw ? feathers attached at bottom. The back is undecorated.

Front and back are painted in a variety of shapes and lines coloured red, yellow, dark brown and black. On the chest are two decorative designs of blue, red and green feathers with strands of beads. Below is sewn a brown and yellow bird with green tail and red back, facing down with head and beak freely hanging, wings and tail widely splayed. A toucan is sewn to the back, also facing down, with blue wings spread to the sides. Below is a panel of densely placed coloured feathers which is edged in seeds, feathered tassels hanging from the bottom. The outer edges of the tunic are decorated with a line of brown and grey seeds, and large dark brown feathers hang in small groupings from the bottom hem. The inside of the garment is undecorated.

Below is a panel of densely placed coloured feathers which is edged in seeds, feathered tassels hanging from the bottom. The outer edges of the tunic are decorated with a line of brown and grey seeds, and large dark brown feathers hang in small groupings from the bottom hem. The inside of the garment is undecorated.

Front and back are painted in circular and geometric patterns and lines coloured red, blue, yellow and black. On the chest are decorative designs of blue and yellow feathers and strands of beads. Across the shoulders on the back is a panel of densely placed coloured feathers which is edged in seeds, with feathered tassels hanging from the bottom. Each side of the tunic has a toucan sewn to the lower half, facing down with heads and large beaks freely hanging, wings and tails widely splayed. The outer edges of the tunic are decorated with a line of brown and grey seeds, and dark brown feathers hang in small groupings from the bottom hem. The inside of the garment is undecorated.

Ornament made of the feature feathers of a Bird of Paradise, as well its breast feathers, still attached to the skin. Two sets of long, fine, light brown feathers hang from the skin of the throat, which is covered in shorter, dark brown feathers. The bird’s lower beak is folded over and resting within a cavity between the sets of feathers.
