Model Kayak2978/114 a-b

Model kayak. A small wooden figure sits inside the cockpit, clothed in a blue parka with hood. The face is carved wood and wooden arms are outstretched to the front. A seal float carved of wood sits in front of the figure. A harpoon of wood and ivory (?) is attached to the kayak on his left, with a snowshoe tied to the boat behind. The kayak itself is made of wood and covered with a dark brown skin. Small ivory (?) floats are attached to the boat at front, back and around the cockpit.

A wooden float sits in front of the figure while a harpoon of wood and ivory (?) is attached to the kayak on his right, and a club to the left. The kayak itself is made of wood and covered with a dark brown skin. Small ivory (?) floats are attached to the boat at front, back and in front of the cockpit. Strips of wood line the keel of the kayak at front and back, and are nailed on.

Mask2956/216

Carved wooden carnival mask depicting a devil with two horns protruding form the forehead. The mask has a protruding nose, a beard that extends from the chin, and the eyebrows, moustache and beard are all indicated by a burnt decoration. Small metal hook on upper back.
