A closing fan with eighteen inner ribs of ivory covered with silk fibre that is painted and embroidered with polychrome floral designs across the entire fan. The two parent ribs are elaborately carved with a floral motif. There is a metal loop with rivets.

Inscribed with the Reformed Gregorian Calendar, which is represented by a table of numbers and months on both the lid and bottom of the base, and there are two figures depicted on either end on the lid as well as another figure on the bottom of the base.
