The hat is decorated with silver designs, some outlined in pink. Also covering the hat are metal discs with mirrored centres. The bottom of the hat has a white border with brassl discs and is edged with purple. There are two white ties knotted together. The back of the hat has a wire design on back and is stiffened with cardboard. The front has a narrow segment that folds out when the hat is worn. In the centre of the segment is a white circle with a red border surrounded by white fur. In the centre of the circle is an applique blue and pink bird with green leaves. On either side of the centre circle there are similar bird circles, not visible when the narrow segment lies flat.
