Square oak box with a front panel that slides upwards to reveal six drawers with brass pulls; drawers are filled with ivory mahjong pieces. Nailed to the outside of the box are brass corners, bat-shaped brass pieces, a circular brass piece on the sliding panel, and a top piece with two handles--brass is decoratively engraved with dotted and linear patterning, as well as several characters. Part c is a red mahjong instruction booklet. There are 289 parts (a-zzzzz, ab-gk) in all.

Small pair of brass cymbals with raised, bell-shaped centres; each has a hole punched through the centre. Black characters are stamped onto the bottom of both cymbals and painted on the top of part b.

Circular metal gong with a darkened surface and a curved, bowl-like underside. Two red characters are painted on the interior.

Circular metal gong with characters written in red marker and several stamps inked onto the interior. Gong has a convex surface and three fabric ties attached to holes punched evenly around the edge.

Circular metal gong with a convex side and black stamps with characters on the back. Yellow cord is tied in a loop for hanging through two holes punched near the edge.

Thick ring band with large animal-like piece on top. One end has a small triangular protrusion in the centre of two thin arm-like pieces. The other end has two small pieces that curl inwards. Animal is decorated with rows of grooved horizontal lines and has diagonal lines in between them.

Large turtle-like ring with thick metal ring band. Shell of turtle-like piece is triangle shaped and is decorated with horizontal and verticle grooved lines. Ring band is decorated with triangular grooved lines.

Split lizard(?) metal weight with two heads and two tails. Overall, takes the shape of a star with four points. Each point has two legs and feet protruding from each side.

Spade money coin with raised lip around edge. The top is a slightly flaring rectangle with a hole punched at its centre and a protruding scalloped shape with a rectangular hole attaches at the top. Below this top rectangular shape are two arms that form a larger, slightly flared overall rectangular shape. There are two Chinese characters in seal script on the face, divided by a line at the centre. There are two small holes punched through the metal where the two arms meet. The reverse is flat.

Circular brass dish with a flat bottom, raised sides, and a repousse goose in the center surrounded by two concentric circles of engraved designs around the rim.
