Rabbit SnareNa722 a-b

Two leafless, dark brown, branch-like twigs, each with a length of lasso-shaped golden wire tied to it. Each twig has been whittled to point at the base, revealing light-coloured wood underneath the bark.

Long, horizontal pipe with a wooden stem and brass bowl that ends in an upwards curve. Middle segment of wooden stem is wrapped in black and white snake skin(?), edged with purple, red and yellow ribbon, and has two long skin tassels hanging from it with red and white beaded decorations. Scalloped bottom of curved brass bowl is punctuated with a series of holes, through which strings of beads and strips of leather tied to feathers and ribbon are strung.

Headdress680/2

A tall dark brown and brown mottled feather headdress with a beadwork head band. The bottom ends of the feathers are wrapped with red fabric and green yarn and attached to the beadwork head band with brown leather. The beadwork head band has a background of white rectangles each with a design in either brown, green, or pink. Brass metal circles are attached at either sides with long orange, green, and red, and pink ribbons. There are some more feathers attached to the head band.

Light tan reindeer fur woman's boots made with pointed, upturned toes. Trimmed with red and yellow wool felt. Four sets of brass eyelets laced at the ankle with twisted red and yellow fibre cord. Laces trimmed on the ends with red and yellow wool pompoms. Flat soles sewn on. Lined with red wool fabric.

Hide is stretched over wooden frame. Cradle is laced in front and decorated with beadwork (floral design) in brown, green, blue, mauve, yellow, white, black. Each side of cradle has a mirror-image beadwork pattern starting at the bottom with a white leaf outlined with brown, a dark blue leaf outlined with pink, an aqua-blue leaf outlined with orange, and a four-heart-shaped-petaled flower of white outlined with brown on a green stem. Hood of cradle has a beaded central white, pink, green, and dark blue flower with a white, blue, and orange leaf on either side. Top of cradle has a beaded white flower outlined with orange and having three green filaments surrounded by a curving pink and dark blue line with yellow leaves outlined by green on either side. Top rim of cradle coiled with white and black beads. Facial features of doll inked on. Adorned with beaded strings, metal bells, and beaded necklaces.

Belt Buckle1547/4 a-b

Belt buckle of two similar pieces that are round with six large scallops alternating with six small scallops around edges; one has a loop on one small scallop and one has a hook on one small scallop for fastening them together. The front side of the buckles are decorated with floral designs in cloisonné with central setting with a red glass bead as well as six settings with alternating red and green glass beads in each of the small scallops at edge. The small scallop opposite the one with the fastener has protruding fan with floral offshoots from its side. Rear of buckle has metal bar and cover for threading the belt through.

A triangular metal box (part a) and lid (part b) with three triangular legs at each corner. Each side of the box has a four-legged animal with a tail and an alligator-like head surrounded by dots and rimmed with a coil-like grooved edge. The lid has a bird on top of each corner with an upraised head at the centre surrounded by a triangular design rimmed with dots and a coil-like grooved edge.
