Buddhist rosary of irregular shiny black beads, strung on white cotton string. Two mottled green and one red bead with brass rings at each side interspersed, plus one green bead without brass rings. Large wooden beads at end. Two tassels of stiff crumpled brown fibre, one attached, the other attached with a single string.

Large spouted jug (part a) with lid (part b), made of beaten copper with brass trim, handle and high raised foot. Irregular circle of brass at mid-point of body. Some small areas of solder(?) including repair to spout. Triple swirl in raised area on top of lid, with brass loop at centre. Lacquered surface.

Chest406/5 a-f

Red leather rectangular trunk (part a) decorated with gold coloured painted designs and fitted with brass hardware. There is a rectangular metal piece on the front of the trunk in the centre. The top piece is attached to the lid of the truck and has a metal hinge that flaps down to clip through two protruding metal pegs located on the top of container of the trunk. Part b is a long and thick rectangular piece that arches upwards each end and is connected together by a centralized cross-bar. Part c is a long angular key with two separate metal prongs. Part d is a curved metal handle that curls inwards at each end. Part e is a long piece of white fibre that is decorated with a small piece of place. Part f is a tied up strand of green and white fibre.

Figure548/20 a-t

A gold-coloured figure (part a) in crawling position with a couch, clothing, and ornaments. The couch is covered with a red velvety fabric and has a pattern of silvery sequins in between a diamond-shaped mesh pattern with silvery diagonal lines and a gold-like rim. The couch has a base (part b), a back (part c), and two side pillows (parts d and e). Two ornaments (parts f and g) have a pink-red velvety fabric pentagon with a sequin in the middle and a lace rim which are attached to a silvery-gold lined stick. There are two robes; one is green (part h), and one is orange (part i). There are two fans; on is larger and is blue (part j), and one is smaller and is green (part k). There is a small silvery wand (part l). There are three hats; one is green with a fan on top (part m), one is orange with a pink tail (part n), and one is blue with a yellow tassle (part o). There is a bouquet of three pink flowers (part p). There is a headdress (part q). One flat piece (part r) has a curtailed fan-like shape with rows of beading in the centre outlined with gold sequins. There is a small silvery bracelet (part s) with two links. There is a beaded necklace-like ornament (part t).

Pen Case1262/328

Long, rectangular brass container with a rounded end and rounded, hinged top--top has a centred, crown-shaped knob. Attached to the side of the case at the top is a smaller square container with a shell-shaped hatch opening. The smaller container is attached to the longer rectangular container in such a manner that the latter lays horizontally while the former sits upright to be opened. The entire object is engraved with an intricate floral pattern with several imaged of animals.
