A chatelaine with a central flat rectangular panel of perforated brass with a raised design of nine coins at the centre with another above, flowers around the edges, two butterflies at either sides in between the top row of three coins, and the coin above, and two dragons at either sides on the top. The coins have various designs including fish, humans, birds, and animals. Strung on two double cords of yellow silk, each cord of which is then strung with a brass coin-like medal, ending in a red, orange, yellow, and green silk knot with five tassels. Five varied-coloured multiple-layered ribbons are also strung with medals at the bottom corners, and at the bottom centre, each decorated with five fabric flowers. Paint in some indentations.

Incense burner of brass, shaped like a flattened sphere and open at the top. Has three solid round legs, 0.6 cm. long, which flow smoothly into body of burner. Mouth has raised neck 0.9 cm. high with recessed ring around outer circumference. Rim is 0.6 cm. wide with upturned outer edge. Smooth, shiny surface. Under base, on square ground, there are the Chinese characters 'Gret Ming Hsuan-te'.

Box with lid which together form a squat, flattened sphere joined at the mid-section with exposed brass rim, wires and raised single ring foot. Base within foot is enamelled light blue, as is inside of box and lid. Outside of box has 4 red 5-petalled flowers on black ground which is filled with brass wire scrolls, with ring of red half-circles around upper edge. Lower edge of lid also has a ring of half-circles. Lid has symmetrical design of red and green leaves and 3 blue and light red flowers on wire stems, with wire scroll designs radiating from centre.

Square, slightly concave cloisonne enamel plate with brass rim; underside covered in solid dark green enamel, with a slightly raised square foot of brass. Upper side has design of a bunch of morning glory flowers near one side, in light red, red, light green, blue and yellow, with green leaves and brass wire tendrils. There are also 2 small butterflies, one red and one yellow, all on light blue background through which are scattered wire outlines of marquise forms. Contiguous wire circles on black stripe inside rim.

Human figure of bronze ? with dark brown and red/brown finish; with turban, belt, and eyes of inlaid brass. Over-robe has design of flowers and cranes, raised in fine detail. Figure seated on ground with right leg under him, left leg bent with toes turned up. Right arm at his side; left arm raised. Eyes are round and bulging; mouth turned down at corners; face deeply lined. White lozenge design on base, finish gone from base. Base is blistered; thin sheet of metal over solid core.

Exposed wires are brass; some chips near rim.

Collapsible fan with 18 inner ribs made of ivory and two ivory ribs on the outside. The outermost ribs are carved with a floral design. One side is covered in white silk, which has been stiffened and has a light bown paper edge. The silk is painted with a design of cranes flying over a marsh, in grey, white, red, yellow and blue/green. The ends of the ribs are fastened with a u-shaped brass loop to which is knotted a knotted grey silk cord ending in a tassel.

Octagonal box on four circular feet; hinged lid with handle on top and movable clasp attached at front; clasp protrudes from front of base. Top of lid and sides of base are decorated with a perforated quatrefoil design. Punched dots incised on box bottom 'India 3939'. Small label on lid marked '3-43' in ink. Red worn fabric glued to inside box bottom.
