Baton or staff consisting of a solid rod with a horned cow head at the top, five rings around the cow's neck, and a series of turned segments of varying widths from cow's head to about a third of the way along the rod, ending with a wider band. The band has a hook on one side and a ring on the other. The ring has another large ring looped through it. The end of the rod is rounded.

Upper hand on left holds a kettle drum and the upper hand to the right presents a flame. The lower hand at left is held in the abhayamudra gesture with the wrist encircled by a serpent. The lower hand to the right has wrist bent across the body pointing down to the leg. Supported on a low rectangular pedestal on a lotus base.
