Reverse side is flat and unadorned, with the exception of a yellow, circular "Antique Dealers' Association" tag that has been stamped onto the object--inscription is partly obscured by oxidization.

A thin metal beaker. Cylindrical in shape, flaring out into a large rim and flaring out into a smaller base. About midway, there is a horizontal band bulging around the beaker. Stylized geometric spiral patterns (clouds and eyes of t'ao-t'ieh?). Has green patina.

A ritual bronze vessel with a tripod base, two curved, oversized spout-like protrusions, a handle, and two vertical prong-like protrusions rising from the top. A band of incised curvilinear patterning encircles the vessel's middle. The handle has a t'ao t'ieh motif in high relief.
