Fragment: Sling3263/56

Fragment of a sling. Cradle is light brown and has an alternating red-brown and light brown diamond pattern. Diamond pattern outlined in dark brown. Through diamond design is a central split. Tapering sides of cradle have dark brown vertical stripes. Cradle ends with thick dark brown bands. Handles are thin solid braids with two rows of diamonds along the sides. Space between the rows forms a zigzag pattern along the top and bottom sides of the handles.

Fragment: Garment3263/37 a-e

Five irregularly shaped fragments of a garment. Dark golden brown background with diamond designs across all fragments. Diamonds have dark brown interiors with small triangles and four zoomorphic figures inside each. Figures primarily done in dark brown, with black outlines, but there are also several figures done in white. All figures have diamond shaped eyes, long noses, one arm, two bent legs, angular tail(?), and a triangular outline around the back of their head. Several figures have their triangular outlines coloured in white. Largest fragment (part a) has two complete diamonds and a partial one along the left edge. Four figures are white, two in each of the complete diamonds. The second largest fragment (part b) has two complete diamonds. Four of the figures have their triangular outlines on the back of their heads coloured in white. The third fragment (part c) has one complete diamond and half of another along the left edge. Two figures have their triangular outlines coloured in white. The fourth fragment (part d) has one complete diamond. The smallest fragment (part e) has a single figure done in white.

Fragment: Garment3263/36 a-d

Four irregularly shaped fragments from a garment. Dark red background with hexagon designs across all fragments. Hexagons alternate between brown-grey with golden brown interiors and golden brown with dark red interiors. All have snake-like faces inside of them. Golden brown hexagons have brown-grey snakes inside them, brown-grey hexagons have golden brown snakes. In the negative space, between the hexagons, are golden brown bird figures. Birds have brown-grey eyes outlined in red. Largest fragment (part a) has two complete hexagons and outlines of three hexagons along the right side. Second largest fragment (part b) has one complete hexagon and the outlines of two hexagons along the top and bottom edges. Third fragment (part c) contains half of a hexagon and part of the dark red background. Smallest fragment (part d) is a portion of the dark red background with golden brown bird figures. Outlines of three hexagons along the top and bottom edges.

Fragment: Cloth3263/43 a-c

Three fragments from a four-part cloth. Two fragments are from the same section of the cloth (parts a and b). The largest fragment (part a) is irregular in shape and the second largest fragment (part b) is triangular in shape. Both are white with dark yellow zigzag designs across their surfaces. Dark blue geometric patterns spread throughout the dark yellow designs. Part a has an "H"-like shape in the centre, with dark blue and olive green geometric designs inside it. A thin rectangle, towards the bottom edge and close to the left side, of part b has similar olive green and dark blue designs inside it. The smallest fragment (part c) is rectangular in shape and light brown. It has geometric and curvilinear motifs, done in maroon and outlined in dark green, across its entire surface. Wavy line border, along top edge of part c, done in maroon.

Fragment: Border3263/29

Fragment of a curved border band. Semi-circular band divided into two rows. Top row is incompletely woven and white. Large yellow feathers, with white shafts, throughout white row. Feather designs move slightly into bottom row. Feather barbs that extend into the bottom row are dark brown. Bottom row is pink with dark brown flying birds, facing right side of band. Birds have yellow heads, pink eyes and heart-like shapes on their backs. Hearts done in yellow and pink. Textile stitched to cream coloured fabric, secured to off-white matboard.

Fragment: Shirt3263/49

Fragment of a lower edge of a shirt. Rectangular in shape and coloured white with dark brown designs overtop. Central row of zoomorphs- with bird, deer and feline(?) attributes- across entire surface. Row is trimmed with wave patterns on both the top and bottom. Short fringe along bottom edge of fragment.

Fragment of a cloth. Textile is white-brown and square-like in shape. Top edge is uneven. Designs of geometric steps beginning at the bottom edge and going towards the upper portion of the cloth. Steps done in golden brown, light brown, dark red and pink. Fragment is stitched to cream coloured fabric, secured to off-white matboard.

Fragment: Tunic3263/21

Fragment of a garment. Textile is olive green and rectangular in shape. Has a vertical stripe pattern across surface. Three thin stripes in the centre of the pattern. All are trimmed with dark blue and have alternating white and maroon rectangular outlines inside them, towards the top edge. Bottom portion of the thin stripes have alternating maroon and white triangles. The central three stripes are flanked on either side by wide dark blue stripes with mirrored human-like figures and ovals inside them. Designs done in white and golden brown. Right side of textile is maroon. Fragment is stitched to cream coloured fabric, secured to off-white matboard.

Fragment: Sling3263/48 a-b

Two fragments of a brown sling. Largest fragment (part a) consists of the left half of the cradle and a small section of the handle. Smaller fragment (part b) is a portion of the right half of the cradle. Cradle, on both parts, has a repeating design of zoomorphic figures on a plain background, outlined in black. Figures done in geometric style and have two legs, angular heads and angular tails(?). Eyes are oval shaped and dark turquoise. Figures and backgrounds alternate between brown-red and brown-grey. Tapering section on left side of part a is brown-red with intermittent black stripes. Extends into brown-red handle, with plant fibre(?) interior, with concentric black diamond pattern. Right side of part b bordered with thin black stripes.

Fragment: Bag3263/80

Fragment of a bag. Top third of body is plain light brown. Bottom portion of bag is brown with zigzag pattern done in light and dark brown. Light brown fringe(?) along bottom centre edge of body. Two damaged strap portions on front side of bag, along top edge. Strap on right extends into a checker patterned light and dark brown handle. Straps on back of bag are missing.
