Part (a) Large urn shaped coiled work basket (with bifurcated stitches) with lid part (b). Watch-spring base and lid construction. Imbricated design of three alternating rows of four petal flower in dark and red cherry bark. Lid has indented slat flange and knob at centre. Imbricated star design in dark and red cherry, with grass in between.

Large flared, rectangular coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with parallel splint base construction, bifurcated overstitch at center. Upper half is fully imbricated in cat-tail grass with designs of mirror image 'c' shapes in black cherry bark. Black cherry bark stitches at intervals along rim. Lower portion has short vertical stripes of cat-tail grass divided in three and outlined in either red or dark cherry bark. Bottom has two rows of red cherry bark imbrication. Fibre through one side at rim.

Circular basketry tray with simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) and watch-spring base construction. Sides consist of one slat and one splint row. Partial imbrication and beading, overcast rim, and separated handles. Tray is decorated with two concentric circles of four pyramid shapes (one in red with white and one in black with white) set in phase. Colour: tan.

Round basketry tray of simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with watch-spring base construction. Top coiled row separated off into two handles and triple-strand braided rim. Design consists of a five-pointed central star, in red-white-red with a tri-colour diamond figure inside each arm, in the same colours. Series of checkered double-diamonds on exterior.

Tan basket with simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches), parallel slat base construction, and zigzag loop work border on the upper rim. Overcast handle, which is fully beaded. Two horizontal rows of chevron designs alternating in red cherry bark/canary grass/black chery bark/canary grass. The two rows are staggered.

Storage BasketA1976

Brown basket (part a) and lid (part b) with interlocking coiled work, bifurcated stitches. Sides (part a) have eight vertical designs (three each on the long sides and two each on the ends) in red cherry bark with white grass. Design consists of a black/white centre of a vertical row of diamond shapes with the same in red at either end. Smae black/white centre at the ends. The basket has a foot that is beaded with large strips of red cherry bark. There is some beading on the lid (part b), but most of the beading has been lost. Parallel slat base and lid and a foot composed of a 1" slat.
