A: Wooden ceremonial drum or ' gujaaw' , painted by the well known Haida artist Reg Davidson. Goatskin stretched over yellow cedar hoop. Caribou horn handle at back of drum. Round design on front depicts front view of eagle face, in red, black and white acrylic paint. The drum is used to accompany traditional singing at many celebratory occasions. B: Beater, made from cedar wooden, with end bound in red cloth. The drums of this type are used to accompany traditional singing at many celebratoryoccasions such as feasts, potlatches, and pole raisings. Basketry cradle with skin carrying straps attached to the sides. Woven designs in light and dark vary, one side and top end have zigzags along the top and rectangles below, the other side and bottom end have vertical lines. Two cross straps near each end are connected to each other by a thicker strap handle, and a piece of thin green rope is tied through opening at the bottom end.
Oval shaped open basket with two large wrapped wood handles tied on with skin. On the outside wall, black and red cherry bark and light yellow grass have been interwoven with the basket weave to create a checkerboard design.

A long foot or platform protrudes out from the edge of the base. Diamond and linear designs in red and black cherry bark on top and sides of lid.

Small cylindrical woven basket with dome-shaped, fitted lid (part b). One side depicts a whale with jaws open, chasing a canoe carrying two people; on the other side, the whale is swallowing them. Flying birds encircle a floral motif on the lid. Motifs are woven directly into the baskets with dyed grasses; inside this basket, protected from the light, the colours remain vibrant: pink, purple, red, orange, and green.

Woven cedar bark hat. The hat has a flat top and wide brim. It is woven with wide pieces of bark, with three rows of thin pieces around the top and middle. Before the brim are three rows of green coloured bark.
