Oval shaped openwork coiled cedar root basket. Parallel wood slat base construction. Walls of basket are made with two slats followed by an openwork area then two more slats, with two openwork areas overall. The rim is decorated with entwined loopwork. The slats are decorated with rows of beading in canary grass, red and black dyed cherry bark.

Nuu-chah-nulth basket with lid, fine weave. Lid has small brown knob on top. Both body and lid have two bird figures and two other designs on them (basket: birds ?; lid: plants ?). Orange and brownish-purple bands encircle the basket and lid above and below the designs. Thin bands of red and dark purple on bottom edge. Bottom has square weave design in centre, which may be made of root material.

Carved and painted face mask. Eyes, nose and mouth have holes carved through them. Mouth also has five upper and lower teeth. Painted dark red-brown, with black brows, white forehead, eye-sockets, nose and cheeks, green marks across cheeks. Leather cording is attached through two side holes.
