Tall square bentwood box (part a) with a slightly flared lid (part b). The front and back are painted red and black in different distributive Northwest Coast stylized designs. The sides display a large black circle with a four pointed design inside. The joined corner is held together with wooden pegs.

Basketry covered abalone shell. The main weave is light brown with a colourful centre beginning with purple on the inside and working its way outward with yellow, red, green, and red. The sides are woven with purple animals and "UCLUELET. BC." in green. The rim has three rows of red-green-red around the edge.

Outer sides are decorate with cherry bark flowers; rim has vertical cherry bark lines in alternating groups of red and black; rim has vertical cherry bark lines with groups of red alternating with small groups of black.

The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b) has a brown square line around the centre with three blue square lines surrounding it. Two horizontal brown rows go around the side of the lid (part b).

Small, rectangular, coiled cedar root basket with rounded corners. Parallel slat base and wall construction. Exterior is completely imbricated with a canary grass background and diagonal designs in cherry bark.

Designs are bordered in red cherry bark with canary grass background and black cherry bark design elements.

Handles are formed by creating a loop in the rim at each of the ends. Red cherry bark beading on handles and rim. Chevron shaped designs decorate the surface of the basket in canary grass bordered with black or red cherry bark.
