Part (a) Cylindrical coiled cedar root basket (bifurcated stitches) with lid (b). Cherry bark imbrication in diagonal lines around sides of basket. Coiled lid has cedar bark slat and coil covered flange and a coiled knob handle in lid's centre. Cherry bark imbrication in curved lines begins at knob and extends to rim of lid.
Rectangular, coiled basket with rounded corners, slat bottom and sides, and a wrapped loom rim. V-shaped imbricated design on each of the four sides, extending from the top to the bottom.
Rectangular, coiled cedar root basket (a) with rounded corners, flaring out from bottom. Flat-topped lid (b) with slat foundation, slat bottom and sides. Raised slat rim. Same major design repeated on four sides, possibly a butterfly. Triple outline in red, black and white imbrication. Lid design of four horizontal rows of h-shapes, alternating black and white with red and white.
Rectangular mat with a plaited checkerboard pattern. There is a double band of dark cedar around the edges of the mat, crossed at the corners. The edges are finished by overcasting on a wide core of cedar bark.
Yellow-brown wood whistle that is circular in cross section and comes to a tapering end and is bound in two places with brown twine, one near the wider end and one near the middle. While the wider end is solid, there is a hollow through the tapering end where there is a taper cut semi-oval hole nearby on one side. Mouth piece is wedge shaped to accommodate a composite whistle.

Bentwood box, kerfs cut on both exterior and interior, fourth side pegged, now most pegs fallen away. Two shorter sides and one long side decorated each with panel of horizontal, finely chiseled grooves. Two smaller sides also have one vertical, rectangular area on right. These three panels are surrounded by border of vertical grooves. Remaining side is plain except for one vertical band of grooved diagonals down one edge. Base has split, leaving gap across width.
Undecorated bentwood box with kerfed corners, fourth corner nailed and horizontally pegged. Piece of newspaper stuck to interior wall near rim. The lid (part b), with an adzed surface, is thin and flat with one long edge projecting upwards on angle into large 'lip'. Lid has uneven fit.
Wooden paddle, painted and varnished on both sides. Design shows pencil marks, handle is red with small design of red and black bands. Lower section painted in red, black and blue. Blade is relatively flat with curved edges and tip, and handle is cylindrical near the centre of the paddle, but flattens towards the cylindrical handle grip.
Carved skull with hollowed eyes, now plugged. There are red circles around eyes, cheeks, nostrils and teeth. There is a black beard, a hole through the top of the head with a cord of fibrous material. Inscription written on back.
