Oval-shaped basket (a) straight sides, a cedar bark reinforced hoop rim, and a flat-topped, fitted lid (b). Cedar bark plaited base, with three different widths of grass twining. Natural colour with dark purple solid and broken line bands, and two thin yellow bands at basket's mid-point. Set of purple and pink chevron-shaped designs on each side of basket above and below mid-point bands. Ring of purple at shoulder and base. Orange band at base. Lid has concentric ovals of green, yellow, dark purple (solid and broken line) and red around centre of three horizontal lines of red and blue/purple rings. Row of twill twining at base and shoulder of basket, and at edge of lid top.

Oval basket (a) with raised, fitted lid (b). Lid has reinforced cedar bark hoop at rim. Opening of basket is larger in some places than the lid, so it does not fit well. Bottom of basket has a single element, cedar bark foundation, overstitched with grass, surrounded by grass twining. Natural colour. Wide faded purple band with faded yellow geometric 'step' design at midpoint of basket. Ring of faded purple at base of basket. Centre of lid has red oval ring with green design, surrounded by wide faded purple band and yellow geometric 'step' design. Thin purple ring at rim of lid.

Oval, straight-sided basket (a) with a flat-topped, fitted lid (b). Sharp shoulder with reinforced cedar bark hoop rim, edged with a single row of grass twining. Cedar bark checker work foundation surrounded by grass twining of three different widths. Natural colour with small scale geometric designs. At mid-point of basket and on top of lid is dark purple and yellow band with diamond pattern. At shoulder and base of basket is band of purple, orange and green. At centre of lid top is horizontal band of purple and red surrounded by two curved lines of green and yellow. At rim of lid is thin band of faded purple. Twill twining at edge of basket.

Oval-shaped basket (a) with a raised, fitted lid (b). Sharp shouldered with oval collared rim. Rim is reinforced strips of cedar bark edged with a row of grass twining. Natural colour with purple and green bands with orange stripes. The raised top of the lid has oval green centre with orange oval band surrounded by four oval rings of purple and two broken line rings of orange. At midpoint the basket has three bands of purple. The middle and widest band has a yellow diagonal design. At base of basket is green band with orange stripe. Bottom of basket is cedar bark plaiting surrounded by grass twining. There is one row of grass twining up the middle length of the plaiting, and one row of twill twine at shoulder and base.

Rectangular basket lid with rounded corners. Simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with elongated watch-spring construction and overcast handle with a metal wire foundation. Lid is fully imbricated and features staggered red and black crosses on a cat-tail grass background. Colour: tan.

Circular basket lid of simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with watch-spring construction and button handle. Decorated with partial imbrication; four triangular shapes along rim in red and white, and black and white. There are also four triangular shapes near handle in red cherry bark, cat-tail grass and black-dyed cherry bark. Handle also has red and black cherry bark decoration. Colour: tan.

Circular basket lid of simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with one row of loop work and a flange. Decorated with partial imbrication. Design features radiating red and black lines, which extend from the centre, and alternating red and black stitches on rim.

Basketry lid of simple coiled work with bifurcated stitches, and watch-spring construction. Lid has a flange and a button handle, and is decorated with partial imbrication. Rim is black, surface decorated with four tri-colour diamond shapes, and there are two rows of red at base of handle. There is also an alternating red and black stepped pattern on handle. Colour: tan.

Four sections of a repeating green and red root border on rim; green root has been laid over lighter sections. The birch bark body of the basket is bent and laced with root; rim is overcast; exterior of bark is to the outside.
