Rectangular cedar box in the characteristic kerfed style. The box has a lip at the rear of the removable lid. The front and two sides have grooved panels while the back is plain. The edges have been bent and one edge pegged closed using wooden pegs. At the top of the two sides are two pairs of holes suggesting the box may have had a handle. Around the box is cedar bark rope tied in a net-like manner which was used to secure the lid in place. The cedar bark rope is rather frayed and fragile. The box appears to have been used judging by its external appearance, while inside the box is in relatively good condition. Inside the packing box is a piece of wood with a flange round three sides and two notches cut into the other. One side of the wood is painted with black stripes. This piece of wood does not appear to be connected with the box, and does not have an accession number, it is a mystery (G.Crowther).; Good

The catalogue card states, Carrying strap, the band which goes across the forehead of mountain-goat wool dyed and woven with a zig-zag pattern of light wool against darker brown background. The headband has two side lines attached to the cedar bark underweaving which are made from plaited cedar bark and fibre, possibly nettle fibre or cotton.; Good

A tumpline of woven cedar bark with a widened headband and side lines which are plaited and taper to knotted ends. It is coiled up and wrapped around the headband.; Good

A woven tumpline made from fibre, possibly cedar bark with coloured wools (brown, beige, white and a little pink and blue) woven into the forehead band. The forehead band has long side lines of plaited fibre extending from either end which taper to thinner knotted ends.; Good

The catalogue card, written by McIlwraith, states Basket in process of construction...the base is of cedar bark, the rest of a rush known as squaw grass. The basket has a pink, purple and green band near the base, and the beginning of further green and red, and purple designs.; Good

Eight double shafted arrows with plain and barbed heads of iron, bone and wood which are lashed to the shaft with cherry bark. The flights are all made from dark feathers. Four short shafted arrows are made from cedar, while the others are made from a light wood that was possibly thin branches.; Good
