Black split U covers most of slightly rounded white forehead, two white square-like forms in either side of U; across forehead, dark purple-red line, varying in thickness and shape, seven diagonal lines over brows; brows protrude at bridge of bulbous snout and taper flat at temples; thin line joins small yellow orbital areas at dip between forehead and snout; circular hollow protruding white eyes are outlined in black; snout has central black band outlined in white, black, white and red crescentic bands around yellow nostrils with red interiors; five evenly spaced drilled holes at centre of snout have remains of 'stingers'; defining cheek line melds with orbital ridge; white temple and cheeks; black line emphasizes contours of cheek, jaw line and upturned rounded triangular-like chin; dark purple-red sickle-like shape on cheeks; red lip band has yellow outline. Cut cedar bark, tied with white cord, and nailed to upper rim; cedar bark lengths are folded around an orange-pink folded cloth nailed to upper rim; white cord and red cloth are twined into cedar bark lengths; grey cloth nailed to back upper rim beneath cedar bark, two narrow strips of dark purple-red cloth are sewn with black thread at sides, edge at side on right is stiff. On reverse, two lengths of green cord, one passed through two holes in upper rim, looped and knotted at hole in each temple; second length is looped and knotted around first cord; white cord binds green cord from upper rim; light brown cord looped and knotted through hole in chin. Jagged check at upper edge of orbital area on right.

Slightly rounded white forehead has black U in upper centre, black triangular-like form with red ovoid outlined in white at lower centre; curvilinear dark purple-red and red lines above curved black brows; yellow orbital areas are joined by a thin line in dip between forehead and bulbous protruding snout; circular hollow protruding white eyes outlined in black; snout has black centre and outline, yellow and white crescentic bands around red hollow nostrils, five holes in snout, three in the centre and one above each nostril, four have the remains of 'stingers'; curvilinear black lines emphasize cheek contours and narrow flat upturned chin; white and dark purple-red bands also emphasize chin. Cut cedar bark, tied with white cord, and nailed to upper rim; cedar bark lengths are folded around an orange-pink folded cloth nailed to the upper rim; white string and red cloth are twined through the cedar bark lengths; dark purple-red cloth is nailed to upper rim beneath cedar bark, two seams with greyish material on either side. On reverse, string passed through two holes in upper rim, looped and knotted through a hole in each temple, black string is knotted to string from temples and to a piece of thick black rubber.
Forehead mask of a woman, whose head is a rattle, sits on the forehead of an eagle; hair, black wire wrapped around ends, is inserted into eleven drilled holes on top of the woman's head; black and orange-red paint are used to emphasize features; front human head has black brows and eyes; wide flat nose has orange-red nostrils; wide continuous orange-red lip band; prominent cheek ridges; ears on either side of head; back of head is yellow cedar with flat face depicted in incised circle; black brows; circular black eyes; broad flat nose with orange-red nostrils; wide continuous orange-red lip band. Body, shown only on front, has arms slightly extended and bent, elbows and forearms rest on eagle's brows, hands are downturned; legs are drawn up next to chest, four black claw-like toes on each foot. Eagle has black brows with horizontal rows of short orange- red lines; black bulbous eyes; thin sharp beak incorporates wide orange-red lip band, flattened semi-circular nostrils on either side; orbital ridge melds with cheek ridge which follows line of lip band; triangular depressed area under lower beak. On reverse, a leather strip is attached to either side by a singular stitch of white waxed cord, cord is also tied around leather. Signed inside: 'B' 'D'/87 'Dempsey Bob Tahltan Tlingit.' Unpainted wood is finished with oil.
Hamatsa cannibal mask with curved beak and cedar bark hair, is painted blue, white, black and red; both sides are identical; 3 methods used in creating 'hair': (1) a rope-like band around top sides; (2) a short fringe extending upwards from band; (3) folded lengths tied loosely together in 2 places with string, covers centre top, lengths are also secured to sides and base by leather strips passed through drilled holes; portions of 'hair' covered in red and brown paint; black brows, outlined in white, extend from beak to side rim; blue and white almond shaped eye area has extended point at back; red eye socket echoes shape of eye area, black and white pupil; cheek has 2 split u forms and a red tri-pointed groove; curved black beak begins at eye area and ends in a point just past the moveable lower mandible, 2 red split u forms, facing opposite directions, black tapers to a sharp point at white front portion of beak; flaring nostrils extend from corner of mouth to widest part of curve in beak, red and white alternating bands graduate in size along length; final red band has 2 points extending into final white band; red lip band, split u design on upper lip, black and red design on underside of lower lip; string attached to inner mouth by metal 'eyes' and also to a stick at back of mask, stick attached to mask by leather strip passed through four holes in stick, 2 oval holes close to base.

Rounded forehead has split U forms, yellow with black splits at sides, partially covered by cedar bark, vertical series at centre has black and red- brown with white and a solid black U; curved thick black brows with ends curling towards side rims; white temples with black and red U forms; small orbital area, base of protruding circular hollow eyes and base of snout between eyes are yellow; black and white bands around top of eyes; bulbous protruding snout has black triangular design at top and bottom joined by a narrow band, cluster of five drilled holes, four with remains of 'stingers'; white, yellow and red crescentic bands around hollow circular nostrils; defining line on cheek melds with orbital ridge; white cheeks have crescentic black line varying in thickness; series of twelve U forms along mouth ridge, white and yellow lines around red lip band, rounded upper lip and pointed lower lip; yellow triangular upturned chin. Cut cedar bark, tied with white cord and folded around a folded piece of orange-pink cloth that is nailed to the upper rim; brown cord is loosely twined into cedar bark 2/3 from top rim. On reverse, a single green cord is passed through two holes at upper rim, looped and knotted through a hole at each temple; white cord binds green cord at upper rim; hole in bottom centre of chin.
Large, carved, wooden, raven hamatsa mask with a long beak and an ovoid shaped ridge for a nose. The beak is hinged with pieces of rubber nailed to either side. The beak is painted black with a red mouth and circular cutout nostrils. At the back of the mouth are two s-shapes. Around the nose is a red ovoid and U-forms. The eyes are white, outlined in black on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak along with a fibre head ring. The top, side and bottom edges of the mask are lined with braided cedar. The top has short pieces of cedar creating a fringe, while the back has longer strips that hang over the wearer. The underside of the mouth is painted black with a small white design. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Rectangular bentwood box with dark brown patina. Painted bird design in red and black on front panel. On opposite side are a series of vertical and slightly diagonal white lines.
Wooden paddle, painted and varnished on both sides. Design shows pencil marks, handle is red with small design of red and black bands. Lower section painted in red, black and blue. Blade is relatively flat with curved edges and tip, and handle is cylindrical near the centre of the paddle, but flattens towards the cylindrical handle grip.
Carved skull with hollowed eyes, now plugged. There are red circles around eyes, cheeks, nostrils and teeth. There is a black beard, a hole through the top of the head with a cord of fibrous material. Inscription written on back.
