Rectangular basket with vertical sides; two long sides have domed handles as part of the walls. Base is solid and sides are open work with coiled solid bands alternating with bands of open zigzags; Handle are open work and have two arches with zigzags in between them. Solid bands of walls have woven checkerboard decorations at regular intervals.
A small light brown slightly bulging cylindrical basket (part a) with a lid (part b). There are four equally spaced alternating green, and blue geometric designs around the side of the basket (part a), beneath which there are five horizontal rows of purple, green, red, green, and purple around the bottom. The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b) dips downward toward the blue, red, and purple circular centre around which stands a long green and blue bird with a green geometric design on the opposite side. There are five horizontal rows of purple, green, red, green, and purple around the side of the lid (part b).

Cedar bark stitching and/or the accompanying holes at top and bottom ends of the board. Large area of rotted wood in the plank's centre. Uniform chisel marks and longitudinal cracks cover the underside.

A long rectangular cedar plank with faded Northwest Coast designs imprinted in the surface of the wood. Nails flush with the surface of the board are spaced at regular intervals near one longitudinal edge. Black and red painted designs are more apparent near the centre of the board. The back of the board has a number of deep, oval-shaped holes in the surface. One end has large pieces missing, creating a zigzag-like edge.
