Circular shaped coiled cedar root basket (part a) with a lid (part b). Basket and lid both have four alternating red and black diagonal bands of design on them that are centred with white-yellow. Lid (part b) is coiled in watchspring pattern and has a knob handle on the top.

Round coiled cedar root basket which flares slightly towards its rim. Edge of basket is sewn with red cherry bark. The surface of the basket is decorated with a pattern formed from diagonal lines of red squares. Each of the squares has two smaller squares of canary grass inside, near the top right corner.

Bentwood BoxNb3.1481 a-b

Tall square bentwood box (part a) with a slightly flared lid (part b). The front and back are painted red and black in different distributive Northwest Coast stylized designs. The sides display a large black circle with a four pointed design inside. The joined corner is held together with wooden pegs.

Shell Basketry1003/18

Basketry covered abalone shell. The main weave is light brown with a colourful centre beginning with purple on the inside and working its way outward with yellow, red, green, and red. The sides are woven with purple animals and "UCLUELET. BC." in green. The rim has three rows of red-green-red around the edge.

Round coiled basket with raised foot ring and upward curving sides. Top three coils of the walls are scalloped resulting in open work semicircles just below rim. Outer sides are decorate with cherry bark flowers; rim has vertical cherry bark lines in alternating groups of red and black; rim has vertical cherry bark lines with groups of red alternating with small groups of black.
