Part (a) Small coiled cedar root cup (bifurcated stitches) and saucer, part (b). Cup imbricated and beaded with three alternating rows of checkerboard, upside down triangle motif in dark cherry bark. Top row of beading near rim. Handle on cup at one time. Saucer has row of beading at rim in dark cherry bark and three alternating rows of crosses also in dark cherry bark.
Carved, wood mask with a triangular shape coming to a point at the bridge of the nose. Bear fur spans the top of the mask and extends halfway down the back opening. The slightly raised, heavy eyebrows are painted black, extending from the back edges of the mask and meet at the upper nose. The eyes, set in a shallow recess on the plane of the upper cheek, are long and drawn out with a circular centre. The nose is long and narrow, with back thrust nostrils. Lips, painted red are rounded and drawn back, slightly parted. U-form designs on the forehead are painted green, blue and red; eyes are outlined in black with a red broken-line sunlight design above them; wave-like designs on the cheek are painted green and blue.
Small cylindrical basket (a) with a flat, fitted lid (b). Wrapped twined rim and flange of cedar bark with warp strand loops. Sides are wrapped twined grass and base is grass and cedar bark plain twining with checker work centre. Geometric design on one side of basket in purple and orange. Two bands of green around bottom. Lid is wrapped twined with green circle in centre surrounded by a blue geometric motif. Two green bands around rim of lid.
Small, cylindrical basket (a) with flat, fitted lid (b); cedar flange attached around the upper rim of basket holds lid in place. Designs around sides of basket: four birds in blue-purple and compound band of blue-purple and yellow around the bottom edge. Lid of basket features concentric rings of blue-purple linear designs.
Oval basket (a) with twined grass rim and cedar bark flange of looped cedar warp strands. Sides are wrapped twined grass; cedar bark and grass base of plain twined weave with checker work centre. Design consists of two light red bands at base of basket; a dark blue, followed by an orange, dark blue and orange bands. The bottom of the basket has one row of purple twining. Lid (b) is wrapped twined with purple and yellow geometric design around red and yellow oval design. Bands around rim of lid are a row each of orange, dark blue, orange and dark blue.
Short, cylindrical woven basket (a) with a flat, fitted lid (b); lid is held in place by a cedar flange attached around the upper rim of the basket. Lid has a central black and yellow circular design with a concentric multicoloured band of linear patterning.; multicoloured band around the sides of the lid. Multicoloured bands of linear patterning around the sides of the basket. Colours: black, yellow, red, green and orange.
Dzunuk'wa feast dish carved from a single piece of wood in shape of reclining figure, Dzunuk'wa (Tsonoqua), with head at one end; centre is deep ovoid bowl and opposite end has drawn up knees with block-like feet. Head is deeply carved with hair outlined; nose, pursed mouth and chin in higher relief than eyes and cheeks. Cheek band is mid-height. Head cuts off sharply at chin. Bowl has hands on either side with carved ovoid shape on palm and ovoids with split u's and ovoid on shoulder area. Painted black with red details on mouth, nostrils, bowl rim and with white shoulder detail. White on palm. Adze marks in longitudinal lines. Flat on bottom.
Whale-shaped mask or headdress with moveable jaw, dorsal, pectoral and fluked tail fins. The moveable parts are connected by strings which work together. Black overall with red mouth, outline around eye, nostril and details on fins. Dorsal fin at centre top is in recessed channel. It is attached to headdress with wooden pegs at bottom centre of fin; ovoid hole cut in white ovoid above face, two u-shapes above. Tail flukes also formerly pegged, peg now missing; decorated with frontal face which has black and white ovoid in ovoid eyes with red split u ears and red and white mouth. Bottom, convex surface is painted with a frontal face; black outlined round eyes and grinning mouth. Red and green details on white ground. Pectoral fins, formerly hinged with nailed on leather strips which have split down centre. One side patched and also now detached. Outside of fins are fully painted with face before double split u's; inside is black and red on unpainted wood. White s-shape on each side of whale body and white ovoid at back. Holes for string attachments in all parts. Canvas head strap on bottom with remnants of blue cloth. Piece of rope strung across bottom near back. Stains, imbedded dirt and a few scrapes.
Coiled cedar root basketry cradle (part a) with slat foundation and sides. Cradle is rounded at the higher, wider proximal end and is tapered and narrow at the distal end. Fully beaded overcast rim. Remainder of the cradle is plain on the inside and decorated with beading and imbrication on the outside. Rim pattern has mainly canary grass with several repeats of alternating cherry bark and grass. There are seven side coiled rows. First two rows repeat a pattern of closely spaced grass chevrons alternating with wider spaced red or dark brown cherry bark chevrons. Rows three and four repeat above pattern in alternating areas. Rows five and six feature three vertical red cherry bark lines alternating with a darker diamond or x-shaped pattern. Row seven is undecorated. No foot. Plain coiled bottom. Tumpline or carrying strap (part b) with wool wefts and multiple element warps is weft-faced plain weave in a light white-brown and red zigzag pattern. On each end of the strap, there is a machine-stitched, hide backed strip of plaid material which has a shell button on the strap end and a button hole at the other. Each end is buttoned over a strip of hide which is tied on each side of the cradle just below the rim with small strips of hide. There is a small piece of cordage tied to one side.

Sides are grass and cedar bark, wrapped twined. Bands of black, red, yellow, green and purple linear and geometric patterning around sides and lid. Cedar bark and grass base, plain twined base with central checker work.
