Coiled cedar root basketry cradle. Cedar roots are coiled over slats. The top half, at the widest end, is beaded in a checker work design of three upper slats separated by a black horizontal line of cloth. The bottom half is beaded in a geometric design in red and yellow. The top row is imbricated in black cloth and white grass.

Part (a) Urn shaped coiled work (bifurcated stitches) basket with handles at shoulder and foot at base. Watch-spring lid and base construction; lid with 2" diameter hole in centre, indented slat flange. Imbricated pattern of alternating vertical rows of arrows in either dark cherry and cat-tail grass, or red cherry and cat-tail grass. In between these rows is a smaller row of diamond shapes of red cherry bark and cat-tail grass. Part (b) Lid - 6 double tiered diamond figures in cherry bark and cat-tail, alternating red/cat-tail and black/cat-tail.

Spruce root hook, carved and steamed into "u"-shape. One arm end carved with a tapered knob (for attaching leader line). Other arm end re-curved inward and sharpened to a point. Point section is lashed with cedar root.

Coiled basket (part a) with handles, lid (part b), and woven carrying strap (part c). Made of simple coiled work (with bifurcated stitches); parallel splint foundation; foot is beaded. Partially imbricated: diamond designs in red, black and light yellow, with smaller diamonds at each point of the larger diamond; pattern carries over onto lid. Foot is beaded in crabapple bark. Remaining handle (three coiled rows) is imbricated in alternating four stitches of red cherry and four of black. Carrying strap is diagonally plaited and braided cedar bark.

Large flared cylindrical cedar root basket (bifurcated stitches). Watch-spring base construction. Imbricated design of large zig-zag, oultined in dark cherry bark, with two rows of cat-tail grass (?), and a row of red cherry bark in between. In the widest part of each "v" is one hourglass shape - on the bottom row they are red with cat-tail grass (?) centers, on the top row they are red with cat-tail grass (?) and black centers.

Cedar root coiled basket with a flat, elliptical bottom and flaring rectangular sides; simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) elongated watch-spring base construction. Partially imbricated and beaded. Partially imbricated: vertical stripes reaching from rim to five rows from base. Base is beaded with red cherry bark. Colours: black, tan.

Rectangular coiled carrying basket (with bifurcated stitches). Parallel coiled base construction (changing to watch-spring at edges). Imbrication of vertical diamond and half-diamond (or triangular) shape in vertical arrangement (2 on each of the larger sides, 1 on each of the shorter sides). Black and red are reversed in alternate figures.

Imbricated designs of black cherry bark diamonds with center cat-tail grass (?) as top row near rim. Verical rows of graduated sizes of chevrons, largest at base, in varying colours; cat-tail grass (?0 at top, red cherry bark at middle, and two dark cherry bark chevrons near bottom filled in with red cherry bark and cat-tail grass (?). Between these vertical rows are single large 'V' shapes, in red and dark cherry bark, with cat-tail grass (?) at center. Imbrication on foot has bands of red and dark cherry bark near rim, then horizontal row of adjoined upside down triangles, in red cherry bark, cat-tail grass and dark cherry bark, alternating with reverse colour configuration. Top of handle is beaded in black and red cherry bark.

Part (a) Small round basket (bifurcated stitches), with double loop work border and lid part (b). Watch-spring base and lid construction. Imbricated design of upper and lower connected zigzag outlined in dark cherry bark with red cherry bark in middle . Floral shape on lid in same colour configuration. Rawhide tie attached to rim.

Natural and black coiled storage basket with leather handles looped over with a metal button at each end. Simple coiled work with bifurcated stitches over slat foundation. Parallel slat base construction. Raised rim on fitted lid and totally beaded surface. Beading on lid in red cherry bark and sides in alternate rows of cherry bark and grass. Lid is attached to the basket by skin straps.
