Twelve rush fragments, and two cedar wood fragments, found in a bag marked "45-KI-7 pit 2 cordage-matting etc. 7/21/54 AM Reece" This material is from Shelter 7A in Whiskey Dick Creek. According to Swanson (1956, 1962), one pit (pit #1) was excavated. This material, from pit #2, was never mentioned in any notes or reports. There were no human remains found in this bag when it was located at the Burke Museum in 1995. It was, therefore, not considered grave goods. E. Scharf 7/31/95
