Large rectangular cedar bark mat. The mat has decorative bands woven in cedar bark which has been dyed black. There are four bands with a chequer board design, with linked diamond patterns. The edges of the mat have two lines of darker reddish brown cedar bark, picked out with black lines. This mat is identical to Z 35114, in all except size.; Good

An irregular shaped mat of cedar bark with a fringe on one end and several decorative bands woven round the edge and in three bands down the central portion of the square- shaped section. The mat is composed of a double layer of woven cedar bark,and has a large square section with two rectangular panels extending from the upper and lower edges with a gap in between. The rectangular panels are open at both sides and could form loops, they not attached to the square section but are an integralpart of weave.; Good

Wooden plank, slightly concave on one side and slightly convex on the outer rough wood side. Signs of adze work, especially along one edge where the "lip" has been removed. Small nail holes and some nails throughout plank.
