Coiled, tan, basket (part a) with bifurcated stitches; watch-spring base and lid (part b) construction. Basket is cylindrical in shape with a shoulder for the lid to rest upon. Both lid and body are partially imbricated. Bottom to top - two rows of beading; animal shapes with horns; single row of red imbrication; animal shapes alternating with triangles; single row of red imbrication; wide cross shapes; single row of red imbrication. The lid (part b) has a triangular design around the sides and along rim; starburst with spokes in center; all in red on cat-tail ground.

Basket of simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with watch-spring base construction and an overcast handle. Flange on the attached lid (part b). Basket is decorated with partial imbrication in discrete diagonal stripes that have zigzag shapes alternating in red chery bark and cat-tail grass, and black cherry bark and cat-tail grass. Lid has four cat-tail grass and red cherry bark stripes radiating from the centre. Two rawhide ties and one rawhide hinge.

Basketry TrayA8214

Round basketry tray of simple interlocking coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with watch-spring base construction and two coiled rows separated off into handles. Overcast rim and partial imbrication. Twelve pointed star (red and white alternating with black) and a row of tri-colour chevron figures and band of staggered two row figures. Exterior has imbricated figures, the same as the outermost band of the interior pattern.

Rectangular flared coiled basket (bifurcated stitches). Parallel slat base construction. Upper half of basket is beaded on three sides in horizontal rows of staggered cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark. Lower half has vertical beading in red cherry bark. Fourth side has two vertical bands in red, and dark cherry bark. Beading on rim of short bands of red, and dark, cherry bark. Fibre string at each corner.

Cylindrical flared coiled basket (bifurcated stitches), watch-spring base construction. Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?), with two rows of parallel zig-zag bands in red cherry bark. Bottom points flattened. Two crosses in emptry space of top row of zig-zag. Intervals of red cherry bark stitches at rim. Bottom rim has row of overcast stitches.
