Large, circular, woven cedar basket with lid. The basket is round at the base and flares out toward the shoulder, narrowing again toward the rim. Basket is covered in a checkerboard imbrication in light brown with a large entwined diamond motif imbricated over top. Two twisted hide handles sit at the shoulder. The lid is flat and attached to the basket by a hide “hinge” at the rear, with two hide thongs at the front to tie the basket shut. The lid is decorated with a large dark brown imbricated diamond.

Round, woven cedar basket with lid. Basket is coiled in construction, with an imbricated design on the exterior of sets of inverted triangles in light brown, dark brown and red. The lid is slightly convex, decorated with a four point imbricated star. It is attached to the basket by long hide strips that tie in the centre over a small flap of leather. Four small holes are pierced through the edge of the lid through which the hide strips enter and attach the lid to the basket.

Basket is coiled in construction, with a fine horizontal pattern of imbrication over every other coil. Two small handles sit on the shoulder, attached by leather thongs. The lid is slightly convex and is topped by a coiled knob. The fine imbrication continues on the lid, there is a diamond motif closer to the centre, the knob is surrounded by an 8 point star in red and is topped with another in brown. Three leather thongs attach the lid to the basket.

Large, rectangular, woven cedar basket with lid. The basket is decorated with thick imbricated lines, horizontal, diagonal, and vertical, on all sides. Two long leather handles hang down, each attached to both long sides of the basket. On the front is a narrow leather fringe with glass beads, and thongs on both basket and lid to tie it closed. At the back are two leather “hinges” attaching the lid to the basket. The lid is very slightly convex.

The shape of the pedestal influences the interior of the basket, with small ledges in each of the short ends, and the centre of the interior base lays at the centre bottom of the pedestal. Horizontal lines of imbrication in alternating dark red, light brown and black encircle the basket and base. The lid is flat with a rim that sits inside the basket and is also decorated with lines of imbrication in black, dark red and light brown.

Rectangular cedar basket with one central handle. The basket has a protruding rounded point midway along the top of each of the longer walls where a long rounded handle is attached at both sides. The outside is decorated with alternating horizontal lines of imbrication in dark red and brown-black.

Rectangular basket with two handles. Basket is made of cedar slats with cedar root wrapping. The basket is decorated on the long sides with dark red imbrication in an inverted central triangle accompanied by two smaller triangles, and an inverted black and white triangle on each of the shorter sides. Dark red imbrication encircles the base. The basket is topped with several rows of looping in a loose diamond pattern, each culminating in a long, wrapped, semicircular handle.

The base has a few strips of dark red imbrication. The lid is round with a raised knob and has a four lobed flower pattern in black, light brown and dark red imbrication.
