Stemmed, shouldered and barbed arrow heads (obsidian). One located. Four loaned to Public Utility District No. 1 of Chelan County (Rocky Reach Dam). One returned; three missing. NOTE: determined to be lost while on loan- R. Andrews 9/18/1995. One returned from Marymoor Museum 5-30-91 (not known how many were loaned originally). Remarks: * Two obsidian projectile points (5698/42, 5698/8) returned from Grant County Public Utility District, Wanapum Dam Heritage Center on January 25, 1995. These materials were originally sent to Grant County PUD for future exchange (see Borrower's Agreement - 1966), but the exchange papers were never drawn up. Since this material was only loaned, not deaccessioned, the Grant County PUD returned it to the Burke. (L. Phillips, 1/26/95). Previous count indicates 130 tools, of which 42 were located and examined. There were three side-notched obsidian points, 2 basally notched obsidian points, 21 corner notched obsidian points, and twelve stemmed obsidian points. Of the chert points, one was side notched, one was basally notched, one was stemmed, and one was corner notched. (6/95) One obsidian projectile point was returned to the museum from the U.W. anthropology department. It is shouldered with a tapered stem. Catalog number on artifact has partially worn off; it could be 5697 or 5698, but has been assigned #5697 (L. Phillips 1/28/1997). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
Peculiarly shaped chipped forms. Remarks: Number of specimens in upper left corner was recorded by Frank Barnett who checked the material in 1939 while working at the museum as a volunteer.* Previous count shows 102 objects, of which 62 could be located. These are from Goldendale, and consist of: Obsidian objects: 5 obsidian cresents, one single barbed obsidian knife, one obsidian point with teeth on sides, one obsidian side notched point with a split stem, one obsidian side notched (concave based) point and an obsidian drill. Chert objects: 34 single barbed chert chipped stone tools, 8 couble barbed on one side chipped stone (knives?), 1 corner and medial notched chert point, 1 notched twic on each side chert point, two corner notched and split stemmed chert points, one lanceolate chert point, one chippoed stone chert tool, on side-notched chert point, two stemmed chert points. There is one basalt piece, which is a single-barbed chipped stone tool. From Goldendale. (6/95) *Information is from the original accession ledger.

Chipped leaf-shaped spear heads (pointed at both ends) used/found in vicinity of Goldendale. Numbers of specimens in upper left hand corner (of ledger) were entered by Frank Barnett who checked the material in 1939 working as a volunteer. The other ledger number was 26.* One point (5676/50) returned from Grant County Public Utility District, Wanapum Dam Heritage Center on January 25, 1995. These materials were originally sent to Grant County PUD for future exchange (see Borrower's Agreement - 1966), but the exchange papers were never drawn up. Since this material was only loaned, not deaccessioned, the Grant County PUD returned it to the Burke. (L. Phillips, 1/26/95). Previous count on computer was 18 bifaces. Only 13 were counted (1995). There were 10 chert, 2 basalt and one uniditified chipped stone tools. One was dropped and broken (L. Phillips, 5/18/95). These bifaces are whole, ellipsoid and pointed on both ends, unstemmed (6/95). NOTE: One was on loan to Washington State Parks and determined to be lost while on loan. Original ledger number was 10.* 1 projectile point stored in drawer 20D10, 5/7/90 RWA. One point (5678/55) returned from Grant County Public Utility District, Wanapum Dam Heritage Center on January 25, 1995. These materials were originally sent to Grant County PUD for future exchange (see Borrower's Agreement - 1966), but the exchange papers were never drawn up. Since this material was only loaned, not deaccessioned, the Grant County PUD returned it to the Burke. (L. Phillips, 1/26/95). Triangular, unstemmed, bifaces. All ten are made of chert. The previous computer entry indicated only 9 bifaces (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.

There were eight serrated lanceolate chert points, three serrated stemmed chert points, one serrated (broken) chert point, ofur lanceolate chert points, and one contracting base chert point.
