Brown mottled chert, utilized blade with brown matrix adhering to all three sides. According to donor, his "father, Robert Z. Lowe, found the artifacts in his family's garden plot across the highway from my [Lloyd Lowe's] grandparent's gas station. Time period would have most likely been from 1933 - 1943. He would have been 9 - 19 years old at that time." K. Peterson 1-13-99
Chert, contrasting stem, rounded stem, serrated. Locality: Collected on Whidbey Island between Ebey Landing and Penn Cove. Collected also by members of Dr. Garfield's family. Identified by DO. Remarks: Width is greatest blade width.* *Information comes from original accession ledger.
