The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Round pot with a rounded bottom and a thin neck that expands out again to a bowl-like upper form. The upper pot has horizontal lines moulded into the clay on top, and an irregular dot pattern below. The neck between the two has wider horizontal lines and patterning, and the body of the larger pot has a series of moulded decorations in angled vertical lines, dot patterns, and horizontal lines that continue down to the rounded bottom. A few painted/burnished spots appear on the upper body. Large, darkly coloured areas range widely overall.

Figure2813/2

A ceramic representation of a man wearing a "crazy cow" costume (vaca loca), and dancing at a local fiesta. The male figure is wearing a dark pink hat with a black stripe, a yellow cape with roses, and purple striped shirt. He is only wearing the costume from the waist down. The costume is light brown and yellow-white, with a cape of dark purple with pink flowers. A curved piece of metal wire has been inserted into the clay to create the appearance of reins around the neck of the cow.
