Fat, round, gourd-shaped orange clay owl standing on short legs with overly large four-toed duck-like feet is slipped white, with details hand painted in black and orange. Feather pattern has a mosaic quality to it, wings and stubby tail are striped, and the eyes are surrounded with two bands of spots. Large loop beak is two tone and divides face.

Long gourd-shaped, pale orange clay owl has a grayish white body onto which have been hand painted, in black, a pattern of overlapping feathers, and large spots at the head. Top surface of wings are decorated with alternating stripes and dots and the base is a solid black. Crooked loop beak and bulging eyes are two-tone black and pale red.

Hand coiled orange clay pottery owl coin bank. Body shape is slightly different from the norm, head sits forward, leaving more space at back for money slot at base of neck. Hand painted in thick brushstokes of dark orange and dark brown over a cream slipped background. Body covered with feather pattern and spots. Mouth is open wide with top beak painted up to little horn-like ears. Eyes on the sides have protruding pupils and short fat lashes. Label glued onto base.

Pear-shaped orange clay owl is hand made with black and orange body detailing thickly hand painted over a cream background. Large overlapping feathers cover the body and tiny orange feet with three black painted toes peek out from beneath the belly. Huge eyes fill head area and the outline that starts at the triangular design around the beak drapes under them to the ears to three dots at back of the head.
