Squat, egg-shaped clay owl is hand made and hand painted in black and red over a white background. Wings and tail with hole beneath it slope down close to body covered with bands of connected feathers. Head area is plain with a large thick handle-like beak, circular convex ears and compass-like eyes with oval pupils.
Thin walled, hollow clay female figure (Spirit of the Garden Plot) is slightly bell shaped at base. Figure has painted reddish brown and black clothing, black hair and black facial tattoos over cream coloured skin. Arms were attached with small pieces of clay that were not worked in to the clay body.
Hollow, light gray clay oval head on short neck is painted light yellowish brown with dark brown hair, beard, facial tattoo and outlines around eyes, mouth, and pinched ears and eyebrows. Oval openings have been cut into eyes and mouth.
Jar in the shape of a bird sitting on a high nest is made of glazed white clay painted with reddish brown and black linear designs and diamond, square and octagon shapes. Tail of bird is the circular opening to the vessel.
Large, pear-shaped, hand made and hand painted, orange clay owl has small bowl-like object attached to its chest and a painted red base. Large brownish black scallop feathers are roughly scattered over a grayish beige body, becoming wavy lines and short curls around the stubby black ears. Large orange eyes are recessed with dark bulging pupils and the hooked beak is like an open pincer.
Miniature, egg-shaped white clay owl, with no appendages, has hand painted body details in black and orange over a white background. Long overlapping feathers cover all of body except for small face area at top front. Painted vertical beak sits between orange eyes with large dark pupils are encircled with dot eyelashes. There is a hole in the base.
Hand coiled gray clay pottery owl. Details are hand painted in brown and orange on a beige slipped background. Splotched feathers cover entire body. Tail and vertical wings are striped on one side, plain on the other. Head is outlined with scalloped fringe. Conical ears protrude from top. Beak is more like a snout with a long painted strip on top. ringed eyes on either side.
Vintage, round and somewhat unstable, orange clay owl is hand made and hand painted in black over a white background, only the ears are red. Lower portion of body is covered with crowded feather patterning, upper part is spotted all over, and the asymmetrical wings and tail near the base are striped. Tiny eyes, knobby ears and base of beak perch in small area at the top.
Brightly painted ceramic figure of mother holding children, with orange pig-like faces and hairy black pig ears. Colours of the mother's long, flared skirt, jacket, and apron include pink, white, green, blue, yellow, black, orange and gold. Around each of her elbows wind identical huge bouquets of multi-coloured flowers and, around her wrists, gold bracelets. The children wear pink/red and orange/green jacket and pant sets.
Somewhat misshapen, vintage hand made orange clay owl is hand painted in red and light brown over a tan background. Red paint covers base and bottom portion of body, the rest is decorated with a variety of curly feather motifs and the wings and tail are striped. The thick beak drapes down the front like an elephant trunk and eyes bulge above it.
