Bowl2695/19 a-b

Light brown, lidded ceramic bowl covered in a clear glaze (parts a-b). The bowl (part a) has a large circular opening with flat sides that taper into a small circular base. The sides are detailed with two thick brown stripes. The lid (part b) is dome shaped with an inner lip on the underside. There is a brown stripe around the outer edge and a dark brown swirl covering the centre.

Bowl2695/16

Small unglazed red clay bowl with a rectangular handle attached vertically along the exterior of the bowl. The sides taper into a tall, circular base. The rim has an alternating design of long black stripe followed by a short white stripe; inside surface of handle is detailed with black and white stripes of equal size. Centre of bowl depicts a black, line drawn face with white eyes. Underside has pencil signature 'Klee Wyck'.

Red clay vase, conical in shape with a round, narrow bottom that widens to the base, then it slightly narrows again to the circular opening. The base is uneven in texture and shape; there is a oval shape indentation. There are areas of the vase that have grey and black colouring. The black sections could have been scorched. There are black markings on the side reading, ‘XVIII – dvII:’.
