Vase is decorated with a tall bird, possibly that of a heron (accession file), with two butterflies, and a flowering tree in polychrome five colours on blanc de chine. Two molded animal head motifs on sides. With circular wood stand (part b).

Vase has petal-shaped rim and incised petal decoration on the rounded lower body. Has a bat and symbolic design on pale blue ground. (Part b is a circular wooden stand, in storage.)
