Round, shallow dish with uneven foliated rim; incised band around edge. Interior is decorated with five radiating, spiraling leaves and two leaves at side of well all in relief. Exterior has protrusion with hole through it at edge of well, likely for hanging.

Hollow, seated figure with knees up and splayed and hands on knees. He is wearing a headdress and decorations on chest and sides of head. Decoration is in red and black paint; headdress and sides of head are decorated with alternating black and red lines; chest is two red v-shapes with black fill and borders; arms and legs are have alternating horizontal bands of red with vertical designs in black.

Shallow, ovular mask with open mouth and eyes and protruding nose, lips, ears, and forehead decorations. Mouth has two teeth on top jaw; forehead decorations are four round bumps in a horizontal line across. Painted decorations in red and black: vertical red lines outlined in black on forehead; ears, lips, and chin are solid red with black border; on cheeks, wavy red lines outlined in black; red on nose; straight black lines to right and left of chin from edge to lips; eyes are outlined in black. A round hole is in the middle of the forehead.

Pot529/15 a-b

Ceramic pot and lid. Pot (part a) is grey with brown glazed rim. Rim has four notches which were used for fastening lid to bowl with string. Lid (part b) is white. It is flat and round with two raised ridges on top. top also has a wood grain design and some writing between the ridges.

Pot529/13 a-b

Lidded pot with narrow foot, bulbous body, and wide, flared neck. Two loop handles are at shoulder. One face bounded by the two handles is decorated with dark brown Japanese characters(?); other face is undecorated. The lid is flat and has a lip that fits into the neck of the pot.

Round jar with curved sides; straight neck; raised foot ring. Decoration on exterior is a scene of three people standing on grass in front of a fence. A yellow, purple and blue geometric pattern is around the neck on the shoulder. Seven Japanese characters in a circle are painted ? inside foot ring. Part b is a domed lid with a painted person in the centre and an orange band around the edge.

Vase529/6

Tall, square vase with flush foot and vertical sides. Vase is slightly twisted so that square of top rim is not in line with that of the foot. The outer sides are decorated with spiraling grooves in surface and an incised band near top. A stamp is on the base in one corner.

One panel: predominently floral design with two birds on right and two buildings on left; water and mountains in background. Other panel: predominently floral design with buildings and bridge on left; water and mountains in background. Scalloped gold background with red, blue and green designs in multiple shapes fill space between panels and on top of body. Gold band around rim. Stamp on bottom (maker's mark?)
