Dish with high, outward-slanting sides and raised foot ring. Decoration in on interior and consists of cursory blue brush strokes possibly representing a Chinese character encircled and a small character consisting of two squares, one above the other, scratched through the glaze encircled by a lighter blue ring and then an unglazed ring. The sides have two green designs on opposite sides. Unglazed ring above foot reveals reddish body.
Dish with flared sides on raised foot ring. Grey-green glaze with cursory brushed flourishes and concentric circles of darker green. Unglazed ring above foot reveals reddish body.
A small shallow repaired celadon dish with one large and a few small missing pieces on rim. The glaze is glassy, smooth, crackled and covers the entire dish except the underside and a little of the foot ring. The centre is moulded with a single floral design. A finely textured grey body is revealed at the chipped areas. There is a prominent ridge at the base where the side joins the foot ring. A set of inked letter and numbers is written on the underside.
Footed krater with wide mouth, upright rim and 2 double arched handles off shoulder. High fine stratled foot has 5 cut out sections and 5 panels. Exterior is painted with meander design on neck; panel design on shoulder; 3 horizontal rows of short vertical lines; meander on belly; 3 horizontal rows of vertical lines; on foot single birds in panels between cut outs.
Deep, red clay bowl with vertical sides and undifferentiated rim. Base separated from body with narrow scotia. Two ring handles round in section emerge from body horizontally just below rim. Body of cup is covered with black glaze except for underside of base, which is left reserved except for outer edge and two circles around a central dot.
Cream clay bowl with black glaze. The bowl is shallow with a wide mouth and a rounded rim. The base is thin and disc shaped.
Black glazed, clay bowl with a shallow bowl, a single handle, bottom reserved. Handle is oval shaped and is mounted at level to the rim, extending horizontally. Base small and flared to edge.
Small, red, clay cup with deep bowl and vertical sides. Base separated from body by narrow scotia. Two ring handles, circular in section rise from body horizontally at rim. Surface of cup painted with a thick black paint. Underside of base reserved with a black ring.
Deep bowl narrowing at foot with small flared base, two horizontal handles on each side high on body, surface primarily in black glaze with reserved band on foot, underside of base reserved. Further decoration on rear at level of handles consisting of oblique dashes in white between which are two incised lines. Front has a more complex decoration consisting of an incised line below rim under which is a tongue pattern in white followed by two incised lines, a wave pattern in white and two more incised lines. Below this is a band of dots followed by a thick red line, suspended from this are three clusters of grapes in yellowish white, two grape leaves and four tendrils.
Form swells gradually with corrugations indicating inadequately smoothed coils, from a flat round unglazed base without foot ring, to rounded shoulder; short neck with flaring rounded lip, wide mouth; red-brown ware. Thick green ash glaze covers jar evenly nearly to base; areas of darker splotches; spots of red-brown matte paint which may be remnants of characters; glossy crackled glaze, pitted and gritty, seriously degraded at junctions of underlying coils in shoulder area as well as in main body area; large patches of light ochre yellow dripping from shoulder area to just short of base.
