Doll (part a) holds a mace (part b) of wood in her left hand. Black hair is parted in centre, looped at sides and tied with silver cord. Black concentric eyes, red mouth, and two grey dots on forehead. Grey outer kimono with gold pattern, light red lining in sleeves. Inner kimono purple with white design.

Male doll (part a) with white kimono and black trousers. He is holding a broom (part b) in his right hand over his left shoulder. His knees are flexed as he is bending and looking down. Bald head. White tabi socks and brown sandals.

Female doll with child on back. Female holds drum on stick in her slightly upraised right hand. White molded clay head, hands, and feet for the female with child's head of white molded clay. Part of woman's black hair is in a top knot. A red hair cushion is visible in front and back. Pink string bow on top knot. Red, blue, pink, and green flower at side of head with orange and white strings hanging from it. Rest of woman's hair chin length. Blue and white dotted scarf tied around head above eyes. Brown eyes in eye socket, painted faint black lower lashes, molded nose, closed mouth with red lips, and cheeks faint pink. Orange lining visible at neck, sleeve cuff, and hem of under kimono. Under the kimono there is a checkered yellow, green, orange, and red piece. Green top coat has scattered toy design in white, yellow, blue, red, black, and orange with pink edging at sleeve cuff and hem. Black edging at neck and front. Orange and white diamond design skirt beneath kimono. Black lacquered sandals have faint red flower design on sides. Orange string forms top of sandals. Metal spikes protrude from heel. Child has shoulder length black hair with bangs. Facial features similar to mother's. White textured cloth around child's neck. Three tiered drum staff in woman's hand. Top drum has floral cloth ends. Orange string joins drum ends together. Light green in centre of drum. Next is a red cylinder with gold wrapping. Green, pink, white, yellow, and red string hang from each end. Last drum has floral cloth ends. Red centre with one gold band. Red staff is wrapped in gold, partially hidden by sleeve. Standing on a clear white base.

Doll has white clay arms, legs, and head. Ridged body wrapped in brown paper. Black shoulder length hair with bangs. Painted black eyebrows, brown eyes in eye sockets, painted black lower lashes, molded nose, and painted red closed mouth. Faint pink on cheeks and above eyes. Orange floral kimono with white and light pink lining visible at neck. At hem of kimono, sleeve cuff, and sleeve sides there is textured yellow cloth. Pink cloth also at sleeve sides. Checkered red and gold obi with white cloth tied around centre of obi. Pink and white dotted scarf above obi.

Round, polycrome bowl which constricts steeply in lower third to 10cm. Flat base. Matte black inside, orange with black lines define space in open ended rectangles, zigzag edged rectangles, step-edges rectangles and line ends, etc. Between thick lines are thin ones which run parallel and diverge from thicker ones. Resin-like coating has discoloured to yellow on base, bubbled and chipped on sides. Small hole on inside, not through. Some accretions inside.

Round, polycrome bowl which constricts steeply in lower third to 10cm. Flat light orange base. Black line decoration on dark orange outer surface, inside is matte black. Thicker lines divide rectangular i-shaped and stepped sections. Thinner lines run parallel to thicker lines, some zigzag etc. X's cross lines in i-shapes. Slight chips at top. Resin coated on outer surface, slightly chipped.

Round, polycrome bowl which constricts steeply in lower third to 8cm. Flat orange base. Brown/black line decoration on cream slip on outer surface. Inner surface red/brown. Thick lines divide outer surface into 6 main sections, these lines zigzag to 't' shape at centres of 4 sections, other 2 sections have rows of triangles, top and bottom. Thinner lines run parallel to thicker lines and thinner form various shapes, some with crosses or lines at centre. Brown/black line at rim. Resin coated, chipped at rim.

Wooden box (part b) with sliding front (part c). Box has front which slides into grooves at edges. The front has a strip on top which fits to box and a strip across the bottom. There is black calligraphy on front. Display of dolls (part a) on a platform. Four-tiered dais covered with red fabric, and a wooden backdrop covered with gold paper. Top tier has small platform with two seated figures with two small seated figures, and having three larger figures and two lamps surround them. Next tier has five blue robed figures. Next tier has two figures. Bottom tier has three yellow robed figures, a lemon tree, and a red flowered tree.

Boy doll. His right hand is tucked under his jacket, and his left arm is straight out to his left side with his left hand in a fist. He is facing to his right with his chin up and his open hole pursed mouth accentuating an indignant-like look as his eyebrows angle downward toward the middle. Straight-line painted eyebrows and segmented crescentic eyes with black painted eyeballs. Brown short sleeveless jacket, lined in yellow, and trimmed with grey, and black edging. Light brown short kimono with black geometric design. Stamped with calligraphy. Yellow sandals with black strip. Metal post under right foot.
