Stirrup-spout terracotta bottle with ovoid ring base. Three mountain peaks with a painted sacrificed person lying over central one, holding serpent in left hand, cactus in right. Figure below is holding a cactus with his left hand. Lower-front body has a deity figure grabbing a cactus with right hand and a weapon with the left; he is fighting a Moche god who is wearing a feline headdress and is grabbing a weapon with his right hand and pulling his hair with the left. Back design has a representation of three figures: small zoomorphic figure falling down on the left side, a male holding a bag over his right shoulder and a cactus in his left hand, and a Moche god wearing a bird headdress, holding a bag on his back and three spears with his left hand. Breakage restored.

Spindle Whorl2990/935

83 spindle whorls, with different incised designs. Group a: thirteen whorls with two semioval incisions, dots in the interior and between designs. Group b: six whorls with incised semioval design, interior has two incised dots in horizontal position and two between designs in vertical position. Group c: eight whorls with incised semioval design; three dots in the interior and dots between designs. Group d: thirty two whorls with three vertical painted lines in red; Group e: five whorls with semioval incised designs, two vertical lines in the interior and traces of red paint. Group f: six whorls with incised circles and dots in the interior. Group g: eight whorls with round shapes. Group h: two whorls: one has a triangular shape and incised dots divided by vertical lines; the other has the same characteristics, but rounded. Group i: three whorls, one has traces of red paint, semioval incised designs and one short vertical line on top of a horizontal line in the interior; the second has round semioval incised designs; the third has three perforated holes. Some in the set are slightly broken; most show wear.

Deer effigy burnished bottle with single globular-tubular spout, strap-bridge handle and horizontal tubular body with two flattened sides. Terracotta with negative geometrical decoration consisting of two bands of three crosses at both sides of body, square band with negative dots in animal chest and vertical lines in bridge handle. Circular ears, elongated eyes, incised mouth and in relief snout. Eight holes in head and tail as strap handle in vertical position.

Earth Still3099/46 a-q

Seventeen piece ceramic installation in earth colours. When arranged for display (left to right) the pieces are as follows: small grey mixing dish with a pouring lip; cream coloured flask with a wide base, narrow neck, and red stopper; tall brown flask with a long thin neck and round body; two-toned cream and grey crucible with a celadon lid; tall, round, brown bottle and stopper; in front is a long spouted red-brown vessel; dark red goblet with a flat base and sharp pouring lip; behind both is a taller thin necked flask in yellow; flat, rounded, rectangular grey medicine bottle; thin necked, grey flask; and lastly, a heavy bottomed grey mortar and pestle. Maker's mark stamped on base of bowls and large bottle.
