Watering Can Pot3099/11

Black stoneware watering can. Round with flaring sides and flat base, with wide slightly arched handle. Triangular opening above handle, below pointed tip. The long spout is slightly bent at the middle. Maker's mark stamped under handle.

Polychrome frog effigy bottle with single tubular spout, strap handle, rounded base and polished technique on surface. Red-brown, orange-brown, light orange and grey stripes on back, outlined with white paint on black background. Arms and legs are red-brown and black and belly is cream. Round eyes are black on cream background. Unpainted base and a small hole in head. Complete.

Seated male figure with red-brown skin wearing a cream vest with geometrical fugitive black decoration, holding a drum. Figure has a hole behind the headdress that acts as a whistle. Bottle with long spout has double conical body and cream coloured snake design with black dots and lines of decoration surrounded by cream dots. Strap handle has geometrical fugitive black decoration on cream background. Breakage restored.
