AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Bottle Type: Soda pop bottle Date Range: 1892 to 1913 Neck Finish: Crown Manufacture Method: Hand-made post bottom Functional Classification: Food/Subsistence Comments: "E" and "MIL" are embossed on the base together with the Maker's Mark in a circular shape. One clear glass bottle with round base and crown finish with inside thread. Two-piece body mold seams begin on post base and extend up to 1" below the finish. Likely held soda or mineral water. Made by William Frazen & Son in Milwaukee, WI as indicated by embossed Maker's Mark: WF & S E MIL Dried substance on inside of bottle. J. Dougherty 12/17/2009

AMEC Analysis: Part: Base Bottle Type: Soda/Mineral Water Dates: 1850-1920 Manufacture Method: Hand-made Post Bottom Comments: "485" is empressed on the base along with the Maker's Mark. One clear glass catsup bottle fragment. Seams extend to rim, indicating post-bottom manufacture. Faceting, shape and maker's mark are indicative of catsup bottles. Empressed Maker's Mark: BBGCo. 485 Dried substance on interior and exterior. Extant bottle is cracked. Large hole in side near base. L. Penttila 1/25/2010

AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Width: 2 7/8 Years (min): 1880 Years (max): 1910 Neck Finish: Dunkley Decoration: Embossed Comments: A 2 is embossed on the base. One round clear condiment bottle with capseat neck finish. No visible vertical mold seams (may be obscured by cracks). The base may have a pontil scar. Embossed Maker's Mark: (Side) F. E. WOLFE HORSE RADISH SEATTLE (Base) 2 Many cracks run through bottle, some radiating from impact point near base. Large piece broken away from rim and shoulder with crack radiating from it. AMEC Analysis: AMEC Analysis: Part: Finish Neck Finish: Laid-on Ring Two clear glass fragments which cross mend to form one round bottle with crown neck finish. The larger fragment was labeled 4KI765/P9-11a, the smaller fragment was labeled 45KI765/P9-11b. Per Amec note one fragment was originally cataloged as P9-18 and was incorporated with P9-11 because they are from the same bottle. Seams run vertically through the finish indicating automatic manufacture. A large amount of brown and black discoloration on interior and exterior. About 80% of bottle is present. L. Two vertical mold seams end within 1" of finish, Cup-bottom mold seam present. A large amount of a dried brown substance is present on the interior which has loosened within the bottle. AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Years (min): 1850 Years (max): 1920 Neck Finish: Lipping Tool Comments: The mouth is broken off. Two clear glass fragments that cross mend to form one bottle with prescription finish and hub or golden gate base profile. The larger fragment is labeled 45KI765/P18-1a, the smaller fragment is labeled 45KI765/P18-1b. Two vertical seam molds on rectangular corners extending from post-bottom seam and continuing to 1/4" of the finish (similar to hand-made examples). Larger fragment has grey and black discoloration on the interior and grey discoloration on the exterior. Smaller fragment has significant crazing or cracking and black residue on the interior. L. Red, brown, grey and black discoloration on interior and exterior. Two chips from neck finish, one shallow and one deep, leaving about half of finish intact. L. Penttila 3/29/2010
