The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Level bag from Mud Bay. Due to a research project (Royalty Research Fund, PI: J. Stein, 1999), some level bags from this site were assigned catalog numbers prior to receipt of the field bag inventories. The field notes had apparently been borrowed by former curator Dr. Robert Greengo, and were not returned to the Burke until 2002. In 2009-10, the level bags were re-cataloged and assigned their original field bag number. However, the C-14 samples removed from the erroneously-cataloged levels bags that were analyzed for the research project maintain their incorrect level bag reference due to the documentation and publications that resulted from this research. L.Phillips, 1/5/2010.
