The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Large metal dagger formed from a single piece of steel, narrowing at one end to form the handgrip. Grip area is overlaid with copper sheeting on both sides. The finial of the dagger portrays the head of a wolf, with rounded snout and eyes, and U-shaped ears and nostrils. Abalone shell inlay is used for eyes and the four ovoid shapes of the copper overlay. The handle is wrapped with a hide strip. The long end of the strip has a loop for being held over a wrist or thumb.

Two cords of fibre optic lights are incorporated above both the red and black sections and connect to a battery power source at the back of the headdress. Brown fur lines the top of the piece, and the interior is covered in dark grey felt.
Horn spoon with a carved handle. Multiple figures carved all the way up the handle to the point: a killer whale at the tip of its handle, with a human figure below, then a second whale with a halibut in its mouth, and just below its snout a raven. Handle attached to bowl by copper rivets.
Shaman or healer's globular-shaped rattle features an owl on the front, its beak pronounced and its wings and legs carved in low relief; and on the reverse, another beaked creature, with legs and two-toed claws. Pins of native copper secure the handle, and sinew ties hold the rattle closed; black and red paint accents the carved imagery. (Interior likely holds pebbles, beads or lead shot.)

The top section below the loop appears to have concentric circles and vertical lines. The bell (part b) is medium-sized, and features a face design on one side, and a loop at the top. The bell (part c) is very small, has a loop at the top. The metal loop (part d) is a thin piece of metal, bent into a circular shape. The flat metal disc (part e) has rough edges, and two small holes at the top.
