A teapot with a plain body (part a) with a tall stepped lid (part b) and a short spout. The lid has a chain at the top that used to connect to a loop at the top of the handle. It is mostly brass with a beaten copper handle and base.

Copper ornament of a whale with its body arcing at a 90-degree angle. Fins are rounded with top fin inclined slightly away from head and lower fin arcing slightly towards head. Tail is also rounded and has two prongs with scalloped design in the gap between them.
