Rectangular abalone shell ornament with two small holes drilled in the top centre and one at the bottom centre. A sheet of copper with a rectangular hole in the centre covers the back and side edges of the shell.

The otters are entirely covered by zigzag engraving and are stamped with maker’s marks.
