Humanoid mask with protruding brow, short nose, large rectangular eye holes and a rectangular mouth with jagged white teeth. Face is covered in thin shingle-like sections of copper. A long braided, section of raffia dangles from the chin and has a large brown wicker-like ball strung on it--the same wicker balls cover the top of the mask.

Round coin with a four-sided hole in the centre, and a rim around the outer edge and the centre hole. The obverse has four characters, and the reverse has two characters. Kangxi tongbao (top-bottom right left) in Chinese characters are on the obverse; nan left in Manchu, nan right in Chinese (mintmark) are on the reverse. Centre hole is not square; rims are rough.
