Man’s floor length dark red, A-line robe, with asymmetrical front opening and 5.5 cm wide neckband. Left front overlaps the right front and extends to the right underarm seam. No closures. The robe constructed from long, narrow (18-19cm) strips of hand woven woolen textile that are hand stitched together, edge to edge. The textile is heavy and ‘rustic;’ it is woven from variegated red yarn (ranging from light red to deep red), giving an irregular horizontal striped effect. Long, straight sleeves. Neck area and cuffs are faced with strips of blue-green cotton textile, but the robe is otherwise unlined.

Man’s vest, made from narrow vertical strips of hand woven, ‘rustic,’ dark-red wool textile that have been sewn together edge to edge; the strips have been cut and shaped to fit closely at the shoulders and flare out at the hem. The vest (front and back) is overlaid from shoulders to the waist with a patchwork of plain gold-thread textile and gold brocade with floral motifs in red and pink with green foliage. An 11 cm wide strip of a more finely woven dark red wool textile extends from the front edge of each arms eye, continues over the shoulders and down the back of the vest to about waist level. A 23.5 cm wide strip of the same finely woven dark red textile, folded lengthwise in half, has been applied at the centre front edges and extends around the neck to form a high collar; this strip is longer on the right side than on the left. A piece of bright red cotton broadcloth has been loosely tacked over this strip, leaving a section on the lower right uncovered. No closures. Voluminous. Unlined.

Plain cloth with blue cross-stitch and single stitch embroidery. Five medallions, centre depicts male on horseback, surrounded by flowers and butterfly. Medallion to viewer's right has cross in center surrounded by four butterflies and various flora and fauna around. Medallion at end has decorative square in center surrounded by four potted flowers and four deer(?) To viewer's left of center, medallion has insects and flowers. Medallion at end has swastika in a square surrounded by four large flowers and decorative elements. Potted flowering plants above and below center motifs. In bottom left corner, two persons and a mule, opposite corner shows bat(?) with four swastikas. Bordered on all three sides by band of embroiderey, two ends show butterflies and sprigs, bottom has repeating pattern with phoenix. Side borders hemmed.

Long red dress with green and gold sequins and clear bugle beads. The dress has a standing collar, side slits and a side opening with metal snap fasteners. The front and back have large floral and leaf motifs. The inside lining is white cotton.

Ecru vest with applique roundel. The vest has a rounded neck, side slits and centre opening with brass frog closures. The sides and bottom hem have pink borders with blue trim. The roundels on the centre front and back have a peony motif in red, green and pink on blue ground. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Light pink vest with small floral pattern. The vest has a rounded neck, side slits and an off-centre opening with brass frog closures. The opening, sides and hem have green borders with gold braid and green floral trim. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Bright green dress with multicoloured striping around the neck. The dress has a round neck and a side opening with a metal button closure. Around the upper front and back are thin stripes of different coloured fabric. The sleeves are red. The dress is open on the sides and the front hem is shorter than the back. The inside is unlined.

Blue shirt with a white stripe pattern. The shirt has a standing collar, side slits and a centre opening with dark blue frog closures. The pattern repeats thin white vertical lines and one thicker white line. There are two large pockets on the lower front and one smaller pocket on the upper left. The inside is unlined.

Orange cotton jacket that goes with pants and panel (Edz1794 b-c) to form suit. The jacket has a woven pattern. It has a standing collar, slender cuffed sleeves and centre opening with metal snap fasteners. The pattern repeats a small floral motif with radiating lines. The inside is unlined.

Ecru jacket with large embroidered circles on the centre front and back. The jacket has a rounded neck, wide sleeves and a centre opening with brass frog closures. There are slits in the sides and back. The pink circles have four toed dragon and sun motifs in red, orange and yellow on a green ground. There are mirrors and white fur around the circles. There is blue trim around the edges of the sleeves and bottom hem. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.
