Ecru leg panels attached across the top by a wide linen band with two long ties. On the front are peony, prunus, bat, vase and fu dog motifs in silver, blue, green and pink on an ecru ground. Beneath the vase motif are yellow, green, pink, tourquoise and orange tassels. There are green glass eyes, tin reflectors, bells and white fur on the panels. The backside lining is white cotton.
Yellow-white robe with embroidery. The robe is made of plain weave cotton cloth, with wide strips sewn together to give desired width. The front and back panels are sewn together along shoulder line, leaving an angled opening for the neck. One strip is not sewn across the top, creating a large pocket. The panels are also sewn at the bottom corners, narrowing the leg opening. The front and back are embroidered in yellow-white cotton. The first design is of two downward pointing needles with a square motif. The second design is a pair of spiral circles enclosing a complex rounded motif. The back of the robe is embroidered with only the pair of spiral circles enclosing a complex rounded motif.
Velvet covers with metal applique and fringe (part a-b). The cover has a velvet centre panel and surrounding border. The panel is maroon with a green centre and corners. Both the oval-shaped centre and corners have scalloped edges. The border is multicoloured with red, green, blue and purple sections; the majority of sections being red and green. Metal decorations are sewn over the surface of the panel and border. The decorations include birds, crabs, dragons, butterflies, peonies, chrysanthemums and narcissus as well as gold thread and sequins. Along all four sides is a metal chain-link fringe, in the shape of flowers and leaves. Part (a) and (b) are the same.
Beaded apron with fringe. The apron has three bands of beadwork within a woven orange frame. The top band has rows of white, blue and orange above and below a row of white triangles on an orange background. The centre band is white. The bottom band is rows of white, blue and orange above and below a double row of interlocking white triangles on an orange background. Below the last band is an orange fringe, longer at the ends. Attached to each end of the top woven edge are two thin string ties.
Beaded crosses with circular designs (part a-b). The cross is a blue and white diamond pattern with a multicoloured border. The border is made up of maroon, orange, purple and green thread and blue and white beads. At the end of each arm and in the centre is a raised circle. The circles have brown fabric on the outside, then rings of blue and white beads, followed by a maroon fabric ring around a clear plastic centre. The circle in the centre of the cross is larger than the circles in the arms. Part (a) and (b) are the same, except part (a) has some yellow and green beads in one arm of the border.
Embroidered textile with geometric designs on a black background. There are two square panels on the textile and a border along one edge. In the square panel, there are triangles in each of the corners creating a square shape on the outside and a diamond shape on the inside. The triangles have red and pink borders and two multicoloured squares with a swastika motif inside. In the centre is a pinwheel design in yellow, green, blue, white, pink and red, with swastika motifs around the outside in a circle. The border along one side is outlined in white with a multicoloured vine design and pink, red and white flowers. There is one salvage edge, two cut edges and one finished edge.
Black headdress with two blue streamers. The black front piece has a top scalloped edge and sides that curl upwards. In each curled side is decorative stitching and a red swastika. Green and red stitching form a border around the headdress. Attached to each curled side is a blue streamer. The streamers are then sewn together and hang down. On the end of each streamer is a red swastika.
Black hat with floral embroidery. The hat is made from a length of fabric and joined together at the ends. The top of the hat is left open. On the front of the hat is a large red and beige flower. To either side of the flower is another smaller flower, branch and bird. Along the bottom of the hat is a beige band, bordered by red and green. The interior lining is white with faded blue flowers.
Multicoloured hat with metal ornaments, feathers and four long ribbons. The hat is dome-shaped with a lowered back edge. A twisted red cord with a gold bead on the end is strung across the as a tie. The hat is black with a white interior lining. There is an embroidered piece on the front of the hat, with pink flowers and a triangle border in purple, green, blue and orange. Adhered to the top of the embroidered piece are colourful pieces of fabric in the shape of flowers. Behind the embroidered piece are three metal ornaments, two ovals and one round. On the back of the hat are three circular patches, the largest in the centre. The patches have large pink flowers and multicoloured borders. Above the large patch are clusters of white feathers and pink beads. On each side of the large patch are two long ribbons, pink/yellow and pink/orange. The ribbons extend past the lower edge of the hat. Along the lower edge is a thick woven border in blue, yellow, white and pink.
The folded hat is orange and rectangular with a rounded top piece, a back flap and embroidered motifs. The hat has an orange centre panel which folds inwards on both sides. Embroidered on the centre panel are pink, purple and white peonies with green leaves and blue swirls. These designs are repeated on the inside of both side folds. The rounded top piece has a large embroidered dragon motif in green, red, purple, white, and gold. Hanging down from the top piece on either side of the centre panel is a red streamer. On the back, the flap mimics the rounded top piece and extends down past the bottom of the folded centre panel, flaring out at the bottom. The large dragon motif is repeated on the top piece of the back flap. Beneath the dragon and in the centre of the flap is a large purple symbol. Surrounding the symbol is a circle of pink and red ponies, green leaves and blue scroll designs. On the inside of the hat is ecru lining, stiffened with cardboard. Two ecru ties are attached.
