Pattern for making bobbin lace, consists of a strip of parchment which is perforated with pin holes and marked with pencil in a 'fan' lace design. Tabs made of medium blue linen or cotton textile are attached at each end. The initials of the pattern-maker, written in ink, are located at one end. Wrapped as a bundle in a piece of blue tissue paper, secured with a steel straight pin. A descriptive label, hand-written in ink on a scrap of white paper, accompanies the item but is not attached to it.
Brown wooden bobbin winder or threader resembles a small tabletop spinning wheel. The wheel, which is mounted on the right hand side of an oblong box, is connected with twine (original missing) to a fitting mounted on the left hand side of the box; small handle mounted on the outside rim of the wheel. An arm with a detachable rotary device is attached on the left hand side and can be folded out of the way when not in use. There is a small storage drawer in the box.

Gold-coloured apron made from a thick, stiff material. Front section has three separate v-shaped panels, one within the other. Pointed petal design with intricate, scrolling cutwork; red cotton backing shows through cut-outs. Two side panels are scroll-shaped. All pieces have circular and drop-shaped mirror insets. Side pieces and two lower front pieces are fringed along the outer edge with black hair. Apron is secured at the back with long string ties.
Flat golden collar with a protruding, zigzagging border around the bottom half. Collar has elaborate, arabesque-like cut-out designs and ten circular and drop-shaped mirrored insets; red fabric backing shows through the cut-out designs. A thick fringe of long black fur-like hair protrudes from the edge. A safety pin secures the collar's ends together.
Hina doll set. Polychrome figures on tiers covered in red are a set of hina ningyō (雛人形; hina dolls) representing the emperor, empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period. There are five steps. Top tier: two figures sitting on a rectangular platform are dairi bina (内裏雛), representing the emperor and empress with another figure known as inubako (犬筥, “dog box”) to their outside side. Second tier: a seated figure in the middle with a standing figure at either sides and a lamp at each end are three court ladies known as san’nin kanjo (三人官女). Third tier: five seated figures are five male musicians known as gonin bayashi (五人囃子). Three seated figures in the middle hold drums, one seated figure holds a flute and another, a singer holds a fan. Fourth tier: two seated figures are two ministers known as udaijin (右大臣, minister of the right) and sadaijin (左大臣, the minister of the left) with two hishimochi (菱餅; diamond-shaped rice cakes) on hishidai (菱台; diamond-shaped stands) in between. Fifth tier: three seated figures between sakura cherry blossom and tachibana citrus trees are helpers or protectors of the emperor and empress known as shichō (仕丁) consisting of nakijōgo (泣き上戸; crying drinker), okorijōgo (怒り上戸; angry drinker) and waraijōgo (笑い上戸; laughing drinker).
Seven carved pattern stamps for textiles. Each stamp has a series of sticks along the backside of the outer edge from which they taper to a point where they are tied together with multi-coloured cloth pieces. The first stamp (part a) has a design consisting of a triangle with a jagged outer edge on one side and two lines curling inward at the more double-pointed end. The second stamp (part b) has a design consisting of an s-swirl pattern. The third stamp (part c) has a design consisting of double v's pointing toward the centre to create an x-shape. The fourth stamp (part d) has a design consisting of four jagged-edges diamond shapes at each corner. The fifth stamp (part e) has a design consisting of a sun-like shape with two circles at the centre, from which rays emanate. The sixth stamp (part f) has a design consisting of a four-legged cross-shaped swirl pattern. The last stamp (part g) has a design consisting of four lines curling inward at each corner.
Mask of Noonkkoomjjeogi (the winker) character. Red oval shaped face with yellow dots, yellow and green eyebrows, red bulbous nose and cheek bones, and bright red lips. Eyes are white and outlined with black dots. Circular cut-out eyes have shades behind the mask to create a blinking motion. Black cloth covering and ties are attached to the back of the mask and hang down. Mask backing is yellow and has a white label with printed red characters to one side.
