Two white belt carriers (part b-c) with metal snap fasteners. On the front of each is a five-toed dragon, with pearl and fire motifs in brown, yellow, red, white, black and silver. The pieces are stiffened with cardboard and wire. The back is lined with white cotton.

Light orange damask skirt panel (part b) with tiny pleats and embroidery. Across the top is a wide cotton waistband with three frog fasteners. A white string is attached to a loop on the waistband. The orange damask is woven containing large peony motifs. On the edges of the skirt are scalloped borders with a floral motif in red, yellow and green on a ground with dark blue trim. On the front and back are xiezhi?, phoenix, peony and mountain motifs in pink, red, gold, green and blue. The inside is unlined.

Blue collar (part c) with embroidery and brass frog closure. The collar is rounded at the back and pointed at the ends. On the front are butterfly and peony motifs in gold, pink, purple, green, white and yellow. There is pink trim around the edges. The back lining is white cotton.

Child's SocksN3.11 a-b

A pair of child’s flat socks made of two pieces of fine plain white silk lined with coarser off-white cotton cloth. The silk is folded over towards the inside at the top and sewn to the cotton cloth in an invisible seam along the front, bottom and back of each sock. No stitching is visible as all is concealed between the two layers of fabric. There is a small opening on the inside front seam of each sock. The heel of each sock curves outward and the toes curve upward, ending in a point.

Under-trousers of very fine white cotton fabric with a sheen. Pants are angled out from the waistband to the ankles. Body of pants is pleated onto a wide waistband, opening at the back. At each side of the waistband opening is attached a narrower long tie. Pleats face towards the centre, front and back. Crotch is very low, at about knee-height, and open. On each side of the crotch opening is sewn an additional panel, extending from the lower edge of the front of the waistband to each side of the back opening. Panels overlap where they are attached to the front of the waistband so that one inserts into the other. The inner seams of the legs below the panels form convex curves, so that the pants are narrower at the ankles.

Black leather shoes (parts e-f) with a tall, wide heel and a squared toe. The bottoms have a horizontally incised, jagged rubber front sole and a flat back sole that is nailed to the heel. The inside is lined with green fabric and brown leather. There are blue pen markings on the inside heel.

Waist BagN3.2

A small flat bag made of red and dark blue silk damask and yellow silk embroidered on both sides. At the top, the red silk is folded inside where it is sewn with an invisible seam to the white cotton lining. Main body of the bag is shaped like a vertical rectangle with triangular projections on both sides created by folding and holding the folds in place with a circular pink cylindrical cord. A yellow tab, pointed at both ends, extends around the bottom of the bag. The red part of the front is embroidered with flowers outlined with gold couching and two pheasant-like birds facing each other while the red panel on the back is embroidered with a fungus. The blue points at the front and the back are embroidered with butterflies with two Chinese ? characters on the front, one light green and one yellow. The cord ends at the front with elaborate knots in red, gold, purple, and light green, culminating in five tassels wrapped in gold at the top, one in each of those colours plus a red one.

Child's SocksN3.1 a-b

A pair of child’s socks made of two quilted sides sewn together with a red cloth border at the top and a red silk tassel on the toe. The socks are made of white cotton cloth, lined with coarser white cotton, and quilted in narrow vertical rows. The rounded heel projects slightly and the arch is slightly indented. Two round flowers and one five-petalled flower are embroidered on each side in multicoloured silk thread outlined in gold, with a third flower over the centre front seam and embroidered v's under the red border. Each sock has a pale green silk ribbon sewed to the back seam above the heel and tied on one side in a single loop bow.
